It was our first time visiting. The staff was friendly and checked on us..the portion sizes were incredible and the food was a party to my mouth. The presentation was carefully arranged and a bit of surprises for the garnishes.
Big thanks to our waiter I don’t remember name but remember his face and kudos to the chef. Will visit again.

There 2pm on a Sunday. Hostess gave menu options for lunch or breakfast. Service was great. Plenty of refills and checked on pretty often by our waitress. Even check up post meal to ensure service was good. Food was prompt. There was debate if the French toast was the best or the Nutella crepes my son ordered lol. Happy to support a small business owner.

Food is the best breakfast I’ve had in Illinois. Reminds me of what I grew up with in southern USA. Service was prompt and quick. Classic local cafe atmosphere. ALL DAY BREAKFAST is such a huge one for me. I took a look at the lunch and dinner menu and they had such a wide variety. Looking forward to coming here again.

Environment is calm and waiters are kind. usually older folks go here so there’s no screaming kids, and they play older songs instead of recent ones, which is a nice touch. Food is awesome and they serve huge portions. Always happy with the service and the tasty food.

3/3/2024 my husband & I went for an early dinner. The only times the waitress acknowledged us was to take our drink orders, food order and that was it. She could answer my question about what was in the turkey wrap except by looking at the menu. Extremely disappointed! Never asked how our food was, we asked another waitress for a box & had to ask manager to get our check. He immediately went to her & it was 10 minutes later that she handed it to us because we were standing at the counter.
We let the management know that we were very disappointed with the service; he said he was sorry & he couldn’t get good help. I said sorry we won’t be back. He said he didn’t know how long he’d be able to stay open.
