My first time here and came with 10 other family members. I’ve always heard the food was great, and I opted for the prime rib. Ordered medium rare, it was perfect! A nice thick slice, served with a salad and another side. Beer was COLD. And waitress was hot (the one with the nose ring). Cool atmosphere and was a pretty good crowd of people even later in the evening. We will definitely return again sometime when we are back in the area!

Rustic Tavern doesn’t take reservations for parties under 8, which is perfectly fine — just be prepared to wait 40 minutes or more during busy times.
The atmosphere is exactly what the name suggests — rustic and inviting. It’s a nice setting. The food was decent for the price point. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away, and I wasn’t — but it was solid.
The cocktails, however, were disappointing. The pours were very light, served in smaller glasses that were only about ¾ full. That feels a little insulting, especially at current menu prices.
We were also seated near the hostess station where a strongly scented candle was burning. The fragrance was so overpowering that you could actually taste it while eating. That was hard to overlook.
The light cocktail pours are a possible deal breaker for a future visit — but candle-flavored burgers might be the clincher.

Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight and had a good overall experience. The menu has a nice variety of options, and the food was flavorful and well-prepared. Only had speciality burgers and fresh cut fries/sweet potato fries. Local beef. You taste the difference. A little higher in price, but well worth it for the taste.
Expect to pay more $$ for the fresh ingredients. A full dinner for 2 plus drinks & tip will cost you a Ben Franklin.
Full bar with bar seating. We sat across from the bar and the kitchen. Back looked a little dated. Women’s single bathroom had some updates. No paper towels, only hand dryer, which I do not use.

We stopped in on a Saturday late evening expecting it to be pretty busy and it was but we were able to get a seat at the bar after a few moments. The bartender was friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious. Size portions are big and there was plenty for sharing or taking home for later. Drinks were good as well. It is a bit darker in there as far as lighting in the bar anyway but it does give that relaxed rustic vibe. We surely will return.
