If you’re searching for a Chinese buffet in Wadsworth, Ohio or the best all-you-can-eat buffet near Akron, Hong Kong Buffet is a great spot to enjoy a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes.

This popular Asian buffet in Wadsworth OH offers everything from sushi and seafood to classic Chinese favorites, making it perfect for family dinners, casual dining, and weekend cravings.

They have a great selection of hot entrées, including noodles, fried rice, chicken dishes, beef, seafood options, dumplings, soups, and more. There’s always something for everyone, whether you love savory dishes or want to load up your plate with comfort-food favorites. Plus, their dessert section is super fun with sweet treats that finish the meal perfectly.

The restaurant is spacious, welcoming, and great for groups, families, and celebrations. If you’re looking for a buffet restaurant in Wadsworth, a Chinese buffet near Akron, or simply a great place to eat in Wadsworth, Ohio, Hong Kong Buffet is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Highly recommend checking it out if you love variety, good flavors, and all-you-can-eat dining!

I’ve tried most of the chinese buffets in the greater Akron area, and this unassuming small one in a strip mall off the highway so far has taken the number one spot, by a long shot.

Highlights: The food was fresh, hot and well prepared. The cleanliness and organization was a big step above most of the other buffets. The hibachi station, of particular note, had its ingredients in a closable refrigerated area that kept everything fresh and temperature-safe (see pictures for reference). The sauce offerings plus extra seasonings available allowed for a delightful variety in flavor profiles. The dumplings were absolutely excellent – plump with just a bit of doughiness that’s lacking from so many others in NE Ohio, and not over-fried. The ice cream station was clean and organized – a very welcome change from other buffets – with nice offerings. While I don’t normally go to a buffet for soup, I was curious and tried a few bites of their Hot and Sour soup for evaluation purposes, and it was not only good for a buffet, but better than that offered by some counter-serve restaurants. The Crab Rangoon were delightful, prepared in the pouch style and my kids enjoyed the honey chicken, one of several different “sugar chicken” options. My youngest was thrilled that there was plain white rice rather than just fried rice. The sushi was excellent – while the selection was small, what was there was visually appealing and delicious, especially the volcano roll that my oldest loved despite not being a fan of most sushi.

Lowlights: The General Tsos was as mediocre as most buffets offer – I suspect batch deep fried from frozen and just dropped in sauce, or however it is that most buffets seem to do it that can’t compare to counter-serve restaurants. The Lo-Mein was strictly okay – not nearly as bad as some buffets, but it didn’t stand out and was a bit on the thick side, not quite as thick as Udon noodles, but a peculiar type.

Other things of note: The price point was excellent, less expensive than several, plus they didn’t try to charge my 9 year old as an adult like a certain other place does. Mens room looked clean at a glance, though I did not use it. Service was attentive and pleasant.

This will definitely be my new standard for a quality chinese buffet.

Excellent variety with unique dishes and wonderful flavors. I paid twelve dollars total for the buffet and water. Amazing value. If you still don’t believe me, lemme give you the highlights: crab rangoon, peanut butter chicken, general’s/honey/sweet ‘n sour chicken, hard ice cream, egg rolls, shrimp, egg drop soup, sushi, spring rolls, and swiss rolls! Rapid service, and friendly smiles. Nice booth and table seating options.

Food was good. Servers and sushi guy could probably put down their phone more. Restaurant could use some updates. But all around it was a really nice visit.

It’s some good food, my only complaint is that the crab meat & wontons are too sweet & doesn’t taste like the usual. Otherwise, they have good meats & sushi.

Really disappointed. Came during lunch with niece and nephew for first time food was cold. Chicken from hibachi did not smell or taste like it was cooked all the way. I asked for fresh egg rolls and watched her take 3 out the pan that had been sitting on the line for who knows how long re fried them and brought them out to us.The rice was cold and hard. The lemonade was warm. There was little hairs or lint on the straw cake dessert. Also had to fight off flies while eating and had to get rid of food because they kept landing on our plates.Unfortunately we will not be returning.
