After spending 50 dollars on food, I asked for a ranch for the cheese curds ordered. They wanted to charge 75 cents more. Stating that ranch is only for tenders. Well, besides already being over priced, asking for the extra charge lost them a customer.

My family & I came to Gurnee, IL for vacation so we came to get burgers. The guy at the window was very rude. When we got to the window, we asked for a large lemonade add on to our meal and he rolled his eyes and got so mad because he thought we meant we didn’t want the small one anymore. We wanted both. So after that he roughly hands us our drinks and asks us to pull forward. Well we received our food with a huge hair in my bread. So disappointing to get treated that way for no reason. Especially on vacation. Do not recommend unless you don’t do add ons I guess. Won’t go to another Culver’s!

I called the store after I ordered in store and got home to find NO BURGER on my burger and old onion rings that seemed like they sat in grease. I was on hold for a long time while “Dominga” kept coming back to the phone after asking for my order number then saying she had a lot of order numbers that were the same as mine 76. She then argues with me that the onion rings were fresh and told me I needed to bring them all the way back. That makes no sense cause they wouldn’t have been fresh even when I brought them back. What’s worse….she never payed attention the the most important issue which was NO BURGER in my burger. She then responded very hesitant and did not want to give me her name after I asked to speak with the store manager. She told me to call back on Wednesday because the manager “Hailey” is off until Wednesday. She told me “Hailey” comes in at 11:00 am. She never resolved my issue. She actually made it worse.

The famed burger chain from America’s dairy land never grows old on me and it’s that savory taste of a butter burger that keeps that nearly constant craving.
For me, among other burger competitors such as the obvious Mcd’s, Wendy’s, BK, Hardee’s, Jack In the Box, etc; Culver’s clearly demolishes the competition in every category.
So far in any location I’ve ever dined in, taken out or drive-thru; it’s been flawless since I’ve never had a screwed up order, undercooked burger, cold fries, subpar customer service, dirty table, etc.
That’s one thing that’s always stood out with Culver’s compared to any other fast food franchise, these guys are at the forefront of customer service.
The menu here reigns supreme even though almost all the time I come here I typically get either a double or triple if I’m starving, Butterburger cheese or Culver’s deluxe.
Family friendly as well, my boys always get excited once they know they’re going to Culver’s. Prices are still affordable despite the COVID crisis and minimum wage hike but the taste will always have me coming back.
As long as they keep serving up that delicious grub and keep up the sparkling customer service, I’ll always remain a loyal customer. I wish for continued growth and success & prosperity for the CEO and all location owners.

I came here yesterday on August 31st, and I had a great experience!
My 5-star review is mainly because of the service that me and my friends received from Xavier, who was working the cash register. He greeted us when we came in and was very kind and friendly when taking our order. We had a very pleasant trip because of him along with other staff members 🙂 I would definitely come here again.

We had a fantastic experience at Culver’s Gurnee! I am a Culver’s enthusiast and I have now visited 30 Culver’s (this was my 30th!!) across 5 states and it is very conveniently located near Six Flags. I came in on Six Flags’s opening day, April 18, 2025, which did make the lines very very long, but I loved it. The staff was really kind to us. I saw they won some awards a few years ago, that was great. My only constructive criticism is that I think the syrup for the Coke was slowly drizzling down to none and it tasted a little off but not a big deal at all, and then the lack of a proper sign. Culver’s has been notoriously known to have the city and state in a sign out there (and that’s how I got the idea of collecting them) but don’t worry I also found my own solution to that so no big deal at all!!! Great experience, 5/5!! (Written 4-25-25)
