On 02/09/2025 was the first time I visited this restaurant. My mom and I ordered some fajita tacos that include rice, beans, and salad, and they were very good. My husband had the beef tampiqueña and liked it, included the flour tortillas. My sister had the egg with potatoes, and everything was fine. The food is very good and the price is reasonable. I should mention that the delivery is slow, but it’s part of their motto: “Take your time if you want food that tastes good; you must have time, and we have the food,” or something like that.

If I could put zero stars you bet I would. I ordered breakfast takeout for my lil family, the lady said it would be ready in 30 min. I get to the restaurant and the lady says that my food isn’t ready that the kitchen people don’t want to make my order because they’re too packed. I told her why didn’t she just tell me over the phone. I asked if they had even started on my order and she said no, so I had her cancel the order and I ended up going to Eddie’s. I have been going to marias since I was a kid, this place has become trash ️

Old school diner close to downtown. The waiter was very attentive. The salsa seemed to be fire roasted, which was a nice touch, and the food was flavorful. Didn’t quite have room for the biscuits… next time.

The breakfast here was just okay, the service was good, the freshness of the food could be easily improved by having certain dishes hot and made fresh to order (like the diced potatoes).
The huevos rancheros cost 5.49 and for that price you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon. I ordered the eggs over medium but the yolk was almost cooked and the salsa for the eggs was just okay, the refried beans didn’t tasty anything special and they were barely warm, the bacon was crispy a bit over cooked but it was a bit cold, the potatoes were soggy and stone cold, the price makes me want to rate it 4/5.
The coffee was very good and hot.
Serving cold dishes is something that can be easily improved, i hope their management takes notice.
For now i will rate this place 3/5 and will return in some weeks to see if the quality improved.

BEST HOME STYLE FOOD. The enchiladas, were REALLY GOOD, pipping hot. The beans and rice had a nice flavor it. Almost licked the plate. Traditional flavors, bold coffee and great atmosphere. A very great environment with awesome servers. Isabel is a great server.

The food was really good! And the service was excellent. We went around the noon hour and it wasn’t packed at all. Now remember they only except cash so make sure you feed the parking meter outside and enjoy your lunch.
