Busy bar/restaurant with solid food options. Recommend ordering the cheese curds with chipotle sauce. The burger was okay, tasted a little meaty. The fish and chips were delicious, would recommend.

We really looked forward to dining here after a long day of travel where we ended up skipping both breakfast and lunch. We were quickly seated upon arrival and then waited >12 minutes for our server to even greet us. In the meantime, three other parties were seated and served. Our table was in the center area of the dining room yet two servers walked right passed us many times as if we weren’t even there. They didn’t even greet us.
The meals looked delicious and we were planning on ordering onion soup, steaks, and drinks, but the service we received was so poor we eventually left. On the plus side, next door is an IGC grocery store, so we ended up picking up a meal there and saving approximately $50 for the evening.

Great place for family dinner in Newberry! We stopped during a holiday week and it was packed, but they got us seated fairly quickly. Food took a bit to be served, but it was worth the wait. Prime rib sandwich was delicious! Pulled pork nachos were huge and my teenage son said they were the best he’s had in Michigan. The gyro was a clean place from my husband! Definitely a great place to try if you are traveling.

The food was fantastic! Truly. The serviced seemed hit or miss. Our server was very hands off and never looked up from what he was doing but other servers looked like they were very attentive to the customers.
The perch was flaky and fantastic. The Paul sandwich was moist and very filling. All the sides we had were also great.
I recommend this place but try to get the older lady as your server.

This place was really cool on the inside. There are lots of things to look at, and it has a really nice bar. The food came out quickly. Our server was very polite and was on top of keeping our drinks refilled. Food was very good my whitefish dinner was one of the best I’ve had so far. The sides were amazing. Pickle fries were top notch. We will be back to try other menus items and some of the drinks as we come through this area often.
