The Rim at Waterside is a fan favorite for me and my Wife. We always loved going there due to how fresh the food always is. The food always comes out piping hot and tastes amazing! The drinks are really great, never watered down. I highly recommend this place for a date night spot or just to get some really great tasting food when in the mood.

Beautiful interior and atmosphere. Our server Cynthia was amazing. She was so educated in the food and drinks and actually picked out what I should eat. The service was a little slow but everything is scratch made, so it was worth the wait. We will definitely go again.

We had a wonderful time at The Rim on Nov. 1st. The food was delicious, and the helpings enough for leftovers if you could manage to save a bit cause they were so delicious! Our server, Carter, was excellent :). We will def be back to The Rim!

The service was good, from Nate the server to Phil the manager. They both kept their composure with some unhappy patrons. The food was not as flavorful as I’d hoped for. It looked good, just lacked in taste. The atmosphere and restaurant were inviting. The prices were average.

The rim was so cute! I really liked the ambiance. Unfortunately I ordered a cosmo and the drink they gave me was indeed not a cosmo. My food also came a bit charred. However the customer service was good and the vibes were nice. The reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because the drinks and food just weren’t a hit.

This score has nothing to do with my server, Rae was absolutely lovely and took very good care of me.
As I was seated, I had come to notice a broken lamp, broken glass in a picture frame on the wall, and crayon all over the wall, and this was all INSIDE the booth right over the table. The lamp was hanging from the wall and still on.
My food… I ordered ratatouille with salmon on the side, but I did not get ratatouille… I got some random vegetables that were in massive chunks and only charred lines on the outside, they were not cooked properly and my salmon was extremely dry even with the Chimichurri sauce on the side. Not a single seasoning was added to the salmon or the vegetables. I even spread the Chimichurri sauce on the salmon to help, but it was so bland and dry.
Rae was so kind and offered me a menu to find something else, the Rim burger was decent enough, but I will not be going back.
I did enjoy the mocktail Mojito and spinach artichoke dip though.

We came here for the first time on a Wednesday night. The food was delicious. They have music on Wednesday and Sundays. It was very enjoyable jazz. We will come back as the menu is large and everything that came out of the kitchen. Looked delicious.

I’ve been here a few times hoping the food would improve, but it’s been a letdown both times. The drinks and service are consistently great, but the food doesn’t match the quality. Today’s shrimp and grits were watery and bland, and the manager didn’t seem to share the same standards for food quality. Unfortunately, it’s just not worth the price.

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was top tier — the atmosphere was welcoming, the food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service truly made the night special.
Kaia was our server and she was phenomenal! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel genuinely valued as guests. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.
The food came out hot and beautifully presented, and every bite was delicious. Between the great service and incredible dishes, this place definitely earned 5 stars. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Kaia again!

We had our friends birthday dinner last night and it was perfect from the amazing food to our excellent server Cameron , the best dining experience I’ve had in many years , not to mention the amazing chicken and waffles were to die for and the collard greens are the best I’ve ever had ! So happy I’ve found yall I will be back soon!!
