Top tier cheap eats, you can have a delicious feast for less than $20. Green sauce is amazing. Great for carryout or eat in, cannot lose with Sardis!

Their Lomo and Polla Saltado meals are so friggin good. That gravy is to die for, and I have never had it any better anywhere else. Will say I do miss their old sauces. The new to go containers just don’t taste quite the same. Looking forward to the new location in the old Burger King.

It was so good I forgot to take photos before starting. Amazing chicken and Amazing sides. Husky portions with the sides too. 3 piece dark meal is a steal at $14.50.

I had the fried rice and beans, and the roasted veggies. All were spot on! This spot is definitely going to be in the regular lunch rotation!

This place has the best chicken and mashed potatoes EVER! I think it’s Peruvian (I’m not sure, however, I am sure that it is delicious). I live 40 plus miles away and make the drive to get a tasty lunch there. They have other choices but I know what I like (half chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and tres leches cake for dessert). It’s perfection!

I ordered a whole chicken special with three large sides; we got the yucca fries, plantains & fried rice with beans. It was a great amount of food for a family of four (plus some leftovers to go home).

The chicken was amazing. The sides were all very hot & tasted great. My 3 year old & 6 year old ate some of everything & loved it. Only ~$40 for everything.

Sardi’s is the best. I’m happy to be a regular!

This was my first time visiting Sardis restaurant. I am from Frederick and only have tasted the food at a cookout because someone brought it there many years ago. The restaurant itself seems more like a quick carry out spot but does have ample seating for groups or families. It seemed cleaned and well kept. I took my dad here last night for dinner, but we ended up getting it to go. I waited for about 10 minutes before I could order. Finally, a gentleman from the back came up to asaiat me. There was another person ahead of me being helped, but it was taking long with the other worker. I got a half chicken with the roasted Brussel sprouts and carrots and fried rice. I chose the Verde and mambo sauce for the sauces. I also ordered my dad the chocolate mousse cake, and I got the southern banana pudding. I did like the fact that they offer a variety of sides, which was a nice switch up from other Peruvian places I have visited, and they offer other types of food. When I got home to try everything, I was impressed. The chicken was flavorful and packed a punch of goodness. The Brussel sprouts and carrots were my favorite, and fried rice was only okay. I would try the beans and rice on my next trip. The banana pudding was delicious. Wasn’t impressed for their version of mambo sauce. The Verde was delicious. I would visit again and would recommend this restaurant.

Sardi’s has been a favorite for years, although I usually get to enjoy it only a couple of times per year. We live in central Pennsylvania, about 50 miles north of Harrisburg, and the Sardi’s location in Frederick, MD is the closest to us and is a little more than two hours away, but it is worth the drive. Their Peruvian rotisserie grilled chicken is our favorite, and there are multiple side dishes to choose from. Iove the black beans and white rice, and their sweet plantains, but there are many other delicious sides to choose from. I am in love with their sauces, especially the Amarillo (yellow) sauce, which has mild heat and a creamy tang that pairs perfectly with the chicken. There are several types ranging from no heat to serious pepper heat to choose. Sardi’s also offers other Peruvian beef, pork, or fish dishes; so everyone is sure to find what they like. Service is at the counter, and is fast and friendly. The restaurant is no frills but it is clean and comfortable, and always busy, even mid-afternoon when we visited. Family friendly. Portions are generous. Delicious!

My first visit to Sardi’s was fantastic! The food was delicious, and I can’t wait to return to try more dishes. I had the three meat sampler, which included chicken kabob, pork loin, and 1/4 chicken. The chaufa and beans were outstanding. The Brussels sprouts and corn were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My only wish is for a spicier hot sauce. Highly recommend!

I use Sardi’s to cater for lunches and as a quick dinner option for my family. Everyone loves the food and the variety of sauces. The rice and mashed potatoes with gravy are a huge favorite. The staff is friendly and the orders are always on time.
