Beautiful atmosphere and splendid service from our server, Luis. Scallops w/ risotto and Pasta Garganelli were exceptional dishes (big fan of Scimeca’s sausage). The smash burger was lacking – my adult son described it as two dry, flavorless patties – however, the fries were great. A manager happened to check on us and my son did express his displeasure with the burger, which was obvious considering most of it was left behind. Granted, most people don’t go to Grand Street for a burger. But when my tab is $94 for 3 people, I expect every dish to be worthy of a takeout box. With 11 (now 12) less than 5 star reviews over the last 3 months, I’ll wait on returning until this pattern improves.

We really enjoyed eating here. The service by Alex was superb! She made our visit absolutely enjoyable. The food was ok. It was a little bland for my taste. We had the Trout, which did have a nice flavor. We also had the Jalapeño Mac N Cheese and the flavor was nice but it was soupy and lacked cheese. Also had the bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes and Brocolini which was also decent. The service was the best part. Thanks Alex for being a great server. Great service can be hard to find.

Food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. I started with the dijon deviled eggs with caramelized bacon. I had the grilled salmon and bleu cheese salad and my friend had the trout. I finished my lunch with a perfect cappuccino.

Dined here with my sister for a special birthday celebration Feb. 11. Our server Nathan was wonderful, as well as superb food and drink. We really enjoyed the aperol spritzers, those unbelievable crispy brussel sprouts, and salmon salad with cranberry dressing. This is such a comfortable, up-scale place. Been here many times, love it!

I don’t usually like to leave a bad review, but I was very disappointed in the food specifically at grand Street. I used to go to the one on a plaza all the time years ago and I thought this one in Lenexa would have a similar quality of food. We started with the deviled eggs and they were decent yet a bit small. My house salad was very mediocre. Just kind of vinegar with large leaves that I had to cut up and pretty blah. The worst was the chicken piccata., super super tough to cut through like I don’t know if they need to marinate it or tenderize it, but it was extremely chewy with a little pile of arugula with not much flavor sitting next to it. Then the topper was my girlfriend’s pasta, which was supposed to have a Pinot Grigio cream sauce with pancetta so basically it had a few few pieces of pancetta, and then the sauce itself was super watery like the cook, didn’t drain the pasta, but just put wet pasta in with the sauce. I was just very disappointed with the quality of food and was really surprised. The atmosphere was great and I really wish that I had enjoyed the food more because it was a beautiful restaurant and closer to where I live. Oh and also another small detail is that they served my martini in a metal martini glass. Obviously, they were trying to save money on glassware because you can’t break a metal martini glass, but I want my martini in a glass martini glass the traditional way. Like if I’m paying $13 for a house, Jen martini the least you can do is give me an actual glass martini glass.

Great service, prompt, responsive and took great care of us. Old fashioned happy hour cocktails were incredible. Food was good but left a little to be desired. This is being nitpicky, totally worth the trip and would go back again.

Song our waitress was the sweetest person ever!!! Please give her a raise. She was very attentive with filling our waters and making sure we were enjoying our food. She was very polite. The atmosphere was very calm and classy, highly recommend for a date night out. I ordered a simple grilled chicken caesar and it was the best I have ever had. So yum!!!

Personally it wasn’t my atmosphere but I think it could have been if I was seated in a more dim lit space. Yes I could see my food, but it was almost like a spot light was on the table. Anyway, I thought this place would be good for fine dining if you are looking for that vibe and yet you can show up a bit more casual than in other places. Really liked my food and the service was nice.

We walked in on a Friday night without a reservation, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner. While the restaurant was decently busy, the atmosphere felt off. Despite several staff members working, the hostess was very standoffish, which made the experience uncomfortable. We ultimately decided to leave rather than push through the negative vibes on what could have been a nice evening.

Visited passing through from OK to WI because of a family friends recommendation. Did not disappoint.
Each entrée was amazing. The desserts were worth coming for all on its own. Tons of flavor. The presentation was lovely and so appetizing.
This is worth the stop.
