Used to be better when they were smaller. Sushi isn’t as good. Service was real slow. Because of the Hibachi and not proper vents I had to have my Canada Goose jacket that I just got from the dry cleaners taken back to the Dry Cleaners. Miss the old smaller place. That was the best sushi in the Wyoming Valley area!

Used to be the best. But hardly anymore. Service has been terrible. Servers are just incredibly lackadaisical. Everything right down to the packaging is cheap and flimsy. Like a janky sketchy street cart quality. We got take out and they put the saucy hibachi in a non-sealable cheap clamshell that leaked everywhere. And I paid nearly $20 for 6 tiny bites of this roll. I don’t mind paying for good sushi but the portions and quality for that cost just don’t align.
Every time we come here we say it will be the last. I will drive out of my way now to get a different hibachi and sushi place. We’re done!

Our waitress Katelin was wonderful. She was so nice to us. She took care of all our needs with such a great attitude. She made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back soon.

We stopped for a quick weekday lunch, and wow, were we impressed. The decor was exceptional, the service was top-notch, and the manager, Steve, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We both ordered the hibachi combination lunch, with steak and shrimp, and the food was excellent. Make sure you take advantage of the half fried rice/half noodle option, which really steps the meal up another notch. We didn’t try sushi to stop, but from the looks of it, I am sure it’s excellent. Once again, we had a first class experience at an exceptionally restaurant. This is a must stop location in the Wyoming Valley.

We called at 4pm to see if we needed a reservation or check on the wait time. They said if we were close, they could get us in since there was only 3. When we got there, they turned us away because “we no room”. We asked about sitting at just a table and were told “we no room”. My wife asked about the empty booth in the back since our 7 yr old was hungry and they said “we no room”. So you are refusing to serve us but won’t say why and said no to letting a child eat?! Then we were told, “show me you called.” My wife said “wait, we are paying you to eat here, why do WE have to prove anything?!” “Sorry, we no room!”. We’ve been here 2 to 4 times a month and now we will NEVER come back. There are plenty of other Hibachi restaurants around that will gladly serve us and accept our money. We no room” to be treated like this.

You Need To Know? Arrived at 5:30 on a Friday night & were able to be seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly enough & took the time to have a conversation with us & help with our decisions. The food was fabulous & tender & we had no complaints. The hibachi was fantastic! Now You Know! -TBH

My friend and I went to this establishment today at around 1:30pm and the service was abysmal. Not only was our server rude and had a huge attitude, but he also pretty much disregarded us even though there was barely anyone at the restaurant. Even though his attitude spoiled the mood, we still tipped him. However, after he took the check away with the added tip, he looked at us, gave us a disgusted and passive aggressive look and proceeded to flip us off. The server’s name is Eric W. Please consider retraining him so this doesn’t happen to another customer. Terrible service!

Food is delicious and fresh! Service is great too! I have only one issue to address. I was there on Sunday evening. My sushi was delicious and very fresh! I loved it! BUT with almost each piece I ate, it almost immediately FELL APART. The sushi chefs MUST do a better job when rolling and packing the rolls because this was very frustrating and takes away from the overall dining and tasting experience. Please address this issue! I will be back soon.

We decided to stop in before a WBS Penguins game and also my birthday.
We sat at the bar area and were quickly served by Katlynn. She was pleasant and paid great attention to detail. She noticed as we “cheers” my birthday with our first drink and then offered to make me a proper Mai Tai for my birthday. I’m glad I accepted as it was properly made (not sweet which is a winner for me), and visually appealing right down to the fresh pineapple and orange garnish. When she presented our bill, she tested the pen first to make sure it was working..(attention to detail, right?..we all hate when the pen doesn’t work..)
The rolls we had were fresh and very flavorful and well prepared.
We got there about 4pm (as the Pens game was 6:05) and got a nice seat at the bar area. The place filled up quickly soon after…good timing for us.
Definitely a great experience..will return.
Thank you Katlynn!!
