Went for dinner at La Table d’Emma with friends to try Alsatian cuisine, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The food felt authentic and well executed. We ordered a good spread – the traditional Alsatian pizza, French onion soup, escargots, roasted duck leg, bouillabaisse and grilled Iberico pork. Every dish was solid, comforting, and full of flavour.

A nice touch was that the main courses were personally served by Chef Michael, who was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about his food. We ended the meal with the Mille-Feuille, which was a great way to wrap things up.

Overall, a relaxed yet refined dinner with consistently good food. Would definitely return.

Came to this causal French restaurant to celebrate my husband birthday. The food is above my expectation. The wagyu steak is tender, well marbled with rich flavour. The roasted duck leg with cereal granola was a delightful surprise. The duck was beautifully roasted — crisp skin on the outside with tender, juicy meat beneath. What truly set the dish apart was the cereal granola, adding a nutty crunch and subtle sweetness that contrasted perfectly with the richness of the duck.

I didn’t give a full five stars as the service still has room for improvement. We experienced a long wait before our order was taken, followed by another 20 minutes before the entrée was served. We also had to remind the staff about our wine order before it was finally brought to the table.

We were informed that the restaurant was understaffed and that two of the waitresses were on their first day. While we understand the staffing challenges, unfortunately the delays did affect the overall dining experience.

On a side note, it would be great to see more comfortable dining chairs and slightly more approachable pricing, especially for a casual French restaurant.

Loved the ambience here, high ceilings, chill music and friendly people! The quality of food and cooking was spectacular and you could feel the heart that went into the dishes made. The lobster ravioli that I ordered blew me away with the amount of fresh lobster with such delicately prepared sauce which did not make the dish taste too heavy. When I think about French cuisine I think heavy and rich but the way the dishes were prepared had just the right balance that made everything taste amazing from the first to last bite. If you haven’t booked here yet I am not sure what you are waiting for.

We really enjoyed our family dinner at Table d’Emma. It was my daughter’s first time trying a variety of French dishes, and it couldn’t have been a better introduction. She absolutely loved the experience – and so did we. The French onion soup was light yet full of flavour, with a perfectly crispy, cheesy top. The extra garlicky escargot was a hit, and the lobster ravioli was beautifully done. The bisque was chef’s kiss! The wagyu beef was delicious, and the octopus was incredibly tender. Dessert was definitely a highlight. The mille-feuille had a rich, high-quality custard, and we also enjoyed the rice dessert. Both were topped with a similar caramel finish – perhaps it was just our ordering, but if you’re sharing more than one dessert, it might be lovely to have more distinct flavour profiles for a greater contrast. Cocktail and wine was delish. Thank you to the whole team for a truly memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant had a relaxed lively atmosphere , and the staff were attentive without being intrusive

Live oysters , served chilled on ice. They tasted incredibly fresh , the texture was silky and plump, and a squeeze of lemon brought out their nature sweetness beautifully . We even had a second serving

For the roasted duck leg , skin was perfectly crispy and cracked with every bite, while the meat underneath remained tender and juicy.

Lobster meat was firm , chunky , and naturally sweet, soaking up the buttery sauce.

Overall, the meal balanced freshness and richness perfectly . It’s a great spot for anyone looking to treat themselves to a special meal.

I’d definitely come back for the oysters and duck again

I had a lovely time and was pleasantly surprised by the good food and attention to detail/produce. We were specially cared for by restaurant manager Clement who had a charm about him as he described the food and wine, the selection process and how Chef Michael thought through each dish. It is rare to find good French bistros and La Table d’Emma definitely delivered the goods. My friend recently returned from Alsace and was pleased to know chef was also Alsatian!

We had the French onion soup and lobster ravioli which was elegant yet packed so much layers. La Table also had a 1for1 lunch deal which we missed, but would loved to try the next time. We also were treated to two French wines starting with a fresh crisp, honey, pear notes Cremant and lovely Getwurtz to end off with the sweet ending desserts.

To end off, Clement also made special arrangements to get us a small portion of entrees which were delightful – salmon tartare with elegant goat cheese with some tartness. Lovely. Thanks Clement and chef Michael!

Food was really tasty and menu consisted of a nice assortment of Alsace and French traditional favourites. The Pot au feu and the duck confit were really especially outstanding and the hospitable Mlle Emma and Chef Michael did stop by to say hello which was a very nice gesture. Other very good and satisfying choices included their famous french onion soup, and there is an
interesting lobster raviolle. The house red went very well with the dishes. Staff were trained well with the names of dishes. Well done and I think every one should put La Table d’Emma on their must try list. In the same building as Mercure Icon hotel in Chinatown.

Came here for the weekday 1 for 1 lunch special and the food was really good! For starters, we had the broth and the flatbread. Our mains were coq au pinot noir and steak fries, followed by the profiterole and the custard tart for dessert.

The coq au pinot noir was especially tender and flavourful. My partner preferred the wagyu steak. Although the steak was rich, it was nicely balanced by the acidity of the sauce.

Everything was delicious and the servers were very thoughtful and attentive, and gave us great recommendations. The ambience was great too. Perfect for a weekday lunch date.

Celebrated Valentine’s day here with my partner and I have to say the service here was exceptional!

From before the dinner service started the staff was very helpful in helping me store the flowers (came during lunchtime) for a surprise.

During the dinner staff was very attentive as well and made sure we were well taken care of for the night.

Special shoutout to one of the staff KM who was so friendly and helpful!

We had the Valentine’s day special menu and food was great as well, had a great time here.
