From the start, Randi, the General Manager, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire planning process. She made coordination seamless and ensured every detail was handled with care. Taylor, our server, and her sister were an absolute delight, friendly, professional, and so kind to our guests. Jay, the bartender, was phenomenal and managed to keep up with our high energy crowd all night with a smile.
The view was breathtaking, the atmosphere magical, and the staff exceptional. My only note would be that while the food was good, I would love to see it elevated a bit more to match the upscale ambiance of the space.
Overall, our evening at Rose and Rye was unforgettable and I would absolutely recommend it for any special occasion or corporate celebration.
Con: they were out of quite a few items food wise and drink wise. Why does a chicken salad cost $25? Why does the outdoor furniture have tears on the cushions? Why are some of the heaters outside not working? Why don’t they validate parking?
We prepaid for seating for 12 people and received an email confirmation. This was for our friend’s 60th birthday, and we chartered a party bus for the evening with the understanding that our reservation was guaranteed.
When we arrived, there was no reserved space for us.
What made an already terrible situation worse was how it was handled. The manager, Alexandria Taylor, was extremely rude and dismissive instead of apologetic or helpful. There was no ownership of the mistake and no real effort to fix it. After paying in advance and planning a milestone celebration around this stop, we were left standing there embarrassed and scrambling to figure out what to do next.
A paid reservation with confirmation should actually mean something. If you can’t honor it, the bare minimum is proactive communication and professional customer service.
This experience completely derailed a very special birthday night. I would not trust them with an important event.
