Where do I start? We lived in North Platte for years & years (my husband lived there since he was an infant), but relocated to Omaha 10 years ago. Butch’s was famous for its great food, & we all loved eating there in the past. So, we are vacationing & decided to eat there. Looked up the menu on fb & headed there for an amazing meal with local family. Hahaha. NOWHERE on the fb pages first glance does it state Butch’s is CLOSED. NOWHERE. So we head there for the renowned food of our memories. We get there & are shocked at how dead the place is. We order drinks & have to ask for a menu, which is brought to us by the food side. The menu was CRAP. Dive bar type food (burgers & chicken strips, not impressive). The outside of their establishment has TWO SIGNS that say “Butch’s” (ummmmm…. how hard is it to CHANGE YOUR SIGN?). You obviously use Butch’s fb with its old menu, to entice people to eat there, which is incredibly deceitful. The Butch’s fb page should be CLOSED & have a notice stating so, & you should open your own page for YOUR FOOD (a Friday night with only a handful or so of people? Should have been our first sign. So, we all chugged our drinks, & left to go get some good night-out food elsewhere. I will state the 4 stars for service is ONLY due to the BARTENDER (thank you!), NOT THE RESTAURANT FOOD. You obviously keep the signs up to trick people like us. Disgusting.

Great small town restaurant with big time flavor! I personally love their pork chop sandwich but they have great prime rib. You have to have their onion rings. They are the best I’ve ever had!

I really enjoyed the meal the help was very friendly I even spoke to the owner it was very accommodating I enjoyed my evening thank you I had not planned on driving riding my motorcycle 20 miles to eat but it was very good a nice ride on top of the good meal
