The gratuity on certain bill amounts was a little confusing/ not really clearly indicated, and it’s a cash only establishment, but if that’s the only complaint that’s pretty good in my book.
They do also wait until your full party has arrived before they’ll seat you.
The specialty coffees were awesome, and we really enjoyed the Short Rib Benedict!!
She was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind checking in at just the right moments and making sure everything was perfect without ever feeling overbearing. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel both comfortable and valued as a guest, but Farina did exactly that.
Of course, the food was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — but great service always elevates a meal, and Farina truly did that. Her positive attitude and attentiveness made the entire experience memorable.
I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the delicious food, but for the exceptional hospitality. If you visit Green Eggs Cafe, I highly recommend asking for Farina — she’s wonderful!
We had one of the worst dining experiences here. First, the food was terrible: the eggs were completely overcooked, the sausage and pork were dry and burnt — absolutely inedible. They brought the wrong bread and didn’t even bother to fix it.
To make matters worse, the service was nonexistent. We were ignored for at least 20 minutes — no one came to take our order or even check on us. Once the order was finally taken, it took forever to arrive, and during the entire meal, no one came by to ask if we needed anything. No coffee refill, no check-in, no “how’s everything?” — nothing.
Then they had the nerve to automatically add a service charge to the bill without any prior notice. Honestly, the service didn’t deserve a tip, let alone a mandatory one.
If you care about good food and basic hospitality, this is not the place. I would not recommend it to anyone.
The chips ahoy latte was fun and unique, pretty tasty. The cinnamon bun french toast was a bit soggy, I wish it had a firmer texture to it. The eggs your way was not great. The eggs came out cold and everything on the plate tasted like it had no salt on it. The sausage patties were super dense, they almost tasted like sliders.
Overall, there are much better brunch spots and I unfortunately wouldn’t see myself coming back. I also was not a fan of the fact that you cannot pay with a card, cash only. And they add an automatic 20% service charge.
