In Berlin.
Consistent. Tasty. We like Kelley as our waitress. She’s really good. Like really there. Highly recommend. And we like one other waitress whose name I can’t recall. Smaller framed and wears dark rimmed glasses. She’s very good too. The others not so much. The kitchen and managers seem accommodating and good. No issues. Listen, today, as we all know – good places to eat are harder and rarer to find and it costs a lot. You’re easily going to spot a $100.00. So honesty matters.
The food is consistent. Plentiful. Tasty. We like: the prosciutto wrapped cod – excellent. This is one of their top dishes. Also, the homemade bolognese sauce on gnocchi, or pasta – also excellent. Steak and cheese sandwich is good too.
The nachos are hit or miss. When they’re good they’re good… when they’re bad they are like lose a tooth bad – hard and over fried or baked. They make the nachos and if they were consistent and softer – more normal – not stuck together or over cooked it would be one of the best in the area. We don’t get them anymore because of that issue. Sad. Because we had liked them but you never know.
They do a very good risotto, and a good risotto is very hard to get nowadays. It is smooth and delicious.
We had the crab dip – crab Rangoon dip – well let me tell you… it was good and really tasty going in. But later… I had to emergency poo so badly and had to go into BJs and it was brutal – BRUTAL… OMGOSHA I pooed all over and it was horrible – coming out it wasn’t as good as when it went in. I guess ‘crab dip’ did it… who knew – that was my experience. Sooooo… if you’re allergic to crab maybe consider. But it was tasty. Who was to know.
It hit me fast and suddenly, without warning. That put a real damper in the day.
We tried the pulled beef or pork tacos – sad. The little tacos were just out of the package and white and plain and bland and the side sauce SPICY. They could have put some effort into it. Nothing special. Kind of a waste of money… you couldn’t do worse at home.
Overall we like the restaurant and will go back. They are very nice and very accommodating. And overall I think it’s one of the best there is.
We also like Chicken Piccata with gnocchi – very tasty – that said the gnocchi had a package taste – it’s good but it would be better over pasta. But we recommend.
Now, about Hopkinton 110 – nothing good to say so we won’t say anything.
This 110 is well managed. The staff – our favorite waitresses – are top drawer and great.
The food is tasty and hot. Portions are good sized and always enough.
sodas should be renamed to a “cup of ice with coke flavoring.” also we could have built an igloo
bang bang shrimp were on point, French Onion soup has peppercorns in it, kind weird, 110 signature burger was slamming good and messy, but in a good way
bathroom was clean
App: calamari and boy was it yummy! The Thai sauce it comes with paired so well. Large portion as well.
Meal: Kale and Brussel salad topped with seared yellowfin tuna. The salad was very good. The tuna was over cooked and dry. It was also just kind of plopped on the plate.
Big perk of the restaurant is the menu comes with all the calorie counts. LOVED that.
