I just had to leave a review after the wonderful experience we had today. I ordered two of the family-pack enchiladas for my sister’s birthday, and they were absolutely delicious.
I always hold my breath a little when ordering takeout because so many restaurants don’t maintain the same quality for takeout as they do for dining in. This place proved that great food travels well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
Your restaurant has never disappointed our family, and we always look forward to coming back for more.

Liked their food and their very courteous service. The server was really good. Food was served hot and was quick. Their portions are good. Churro was excellent. The fajitas for 3 Will fill a family of 5 if you eat like us. Looks like a whole in the wall but the setting is casual and neat. Like this place a lot.

I walked in expecting to get dinner I was seated and my drink order was taken.. My table was dirty. No biggie. I just asked for another clean table, and when I sat down my silverware that I unwrapped, and that was perfectly folded, was filthy . Someone had already eaten off of it how disgusting. I definitely believe it was Intentional. I I was on the phone with my husband who told me to immediately get up and leave who wraps dirty silverware. I’ll give it a zero

We tried this place for late lunch, we were greeted as soon as we entered and seated. Our server Claudia came by and got our drink orders. While she was getting our drinks a gentleman came by and left chips and salsa. Both were very tasty, you could tell the chips were made in house. I ordered the Enchilada which are three house-made corn tortillas stuff with the protein or filling of your choice. I ordered the Beef Fajita, Brisket and Al Pastor. All were very tasty and delicious. I ordered the Enchiladas with no cheese or sauce and tried three different sauces, they were all so delicious, the tortilla made in house and the fillings were so tasty. The beans and rice were very delicious. My partner order the Bistek Ranchero, which was huge amount of food. The sauce and steak were cook to perfection, all of the steak alone was enough to fill you up then you had peppers and onions, beans, rice and avocado with lettuce and pico de gallo. The flour tortilla were so fresh and made in house. The service was outstanding.
The manager came by and asked us how the meal was and was so friendly and took the time to explain how they cook everything from the family recipes. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. They are closed Mondays but open every other day of the week for lunch and dinner and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. We found the restaurant clean as well as the restrooms. Cannot wait to return again and again.

First off, I walked in and the owner was to not to be bothered. We waited to be sat, get chips and salsa which tasted like it was expired. I asked for a replacement and the same batch was served. Once we finally got the drink order the bar took what it felt like an eternally to get served. We order appetizers, a main course, and dessert. The appetizer was basically served with the food which is no longer considered an appetizer. The food was not cooked at the correct temperature as I got food poisoning and could not get up for my life. The dessert was a 3 out of 10 and would not recommend paying the price for what I received! Think twice about spending your time and money on this place.

We love to go eat at Amelia’s. Especially when they have live music. This weekend we ordered their catering for the first time and it was amazing! Great customer service putting together the perfect menu and amount of food. The delivery was on time and super helpful. All our guests raved about the food! Highly recommend for your next event!

We ordered family pack enchiladas and it was PERFECT! You can order cold if you plan on eating them later or order hot. We called ahead thinking we’d have to wait and they said only 10min! The nicest people working. Very Reasonably priced. And did I mention it tasted GREAT! Will absolutely order again.

Our waitress Claudia is amazing! Every time we come here we always ask for her. She is very friendly, personable and very attentive. I never have to say what drink I want cause she always remembers! The drinks and food are amazing and the prices are very reasonable. The Mangonada is the best margarita I’ve ever had in life and Claudia recommended it! She is the best! Merry Christmas to Claudia and Amelia’s!

I’m pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food, especially since I grew up with great cooks in my family. I lived downtown Dallas for years and never really found a decent Mexican restaurant, which actually helped improve my own cooking skills. Recently, I moved to the Rowlett area, and my girlfriend kept telling me we should try this place. One day, we finally did. Fast forward to today, and I can honestly say I have nothing but great things to say about it. Amalia and her staff are awesome, and you’ll be treated really well here.

First time being here, we meet the owner herself Mrs. Amelia. She’s very kind as well as all of her staff. They were very patient with us as we arrived about an hour to closing time. Margaritas are so good! Hands down one of the top Mexican restaurants. I’m coming Sunday for my menudo and HAND MADE TORTILLAS
