We visited this restaurant for New Year’s Eve dinner 2025, for which a special menu was offered. The setting is truly unusual and memorable: a floating boat permanently moored along the canal, giving the impression of escaping the city while remaining right at the quay. Inside, the atmosphere is softly lit and intimate, which works particularly well for an evening like New Year’s Eve.
Service was a real highlight. The team consisted mostly of young, dynamic, and highly motivated staff, extremely friendly and attentive. They checked in regularly, were genuinely warm, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening.
As part of the New Year’s menu, we started with amuse-bouches, followed by foie gras with toast, which was pleasant and well executed, though not particularly memorable. This was followed by a scallop carpaccio, nicely sliced and visually well presented, although it could have benefited from slightly bolder seasoning.
One of the standout dishes was the lobster course, very well executed, featuring claw meat prepared inside a pastry shaped like a lobster body — both creative and tasty. The beef dish that followed was also very successful, perfectly cooked and served with a flavorful sauce. A truffle Brie with salad provided a nice interlude before dessert, which was enjoyable, even if not extraordinary.
Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for couples looking for a romantic, slightly out-of-the-ordinary evening, especially for a date or a special occasion. The cuisine is solid and enjoyable, the setting is original, and the service is genuinely caring and attentive — a combination that makes for a very pleasant experience.
I take a lot of photos so I am certain with these following info. We placed an order and got our first glasses of wine at 19:33. We got our entrees at 20:11, and got our plats at 20:55. We got our desserts at 21:35. This dinner took over 2.5 hours. There’s over 30 minutes gap between the appetizer and the main course. I’ve never had that happened to me anywhere in the world before. I almost asked for a blanket so I can take a nap while they serve me the next dish.
I was truly impressed by how much more comfortable it was here than at popular restaurants in Paris.
I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again!
