Our server – I wasn’t able to catch her name, was PHENOMENAL! She was engaging and interacting even though she was super busy. (Mini rush!) I was pleased with her quick service and her ability to be personable. The food was amazing. I got my favorite – the Bairdi crab your way, old pay parm flavor. It was steamed to perfection, and the sauce was just so flavorful. The crispy potatoes were just crunchy enough and the right amount of salt to cut through the rich sauce. The bacon mac and cheese was absolutely wonderful, the bacon was fresh and warm, and the cheese sauce coated each noodle.
As a fellow RL employee, I loved to see how much similar/different this location was from mine! I am extremely impressed with the attitude and atmosphere this restaurant has. I will 100% be back on future travels!
Also a DoorDash guy showed up and was patiently waiting at the front for a good 10mins. No one was at the front. When he started walking to the kitchen someone from the staff finally asked him what he needed and when he said DoorDash they rudely told him he has to wait. The thing that disappointed me, the most is because I do work in this industry, and there are several staff members that came and looked and saw people in the bar and in the lobby and just ran back to the kitchen. It was like your whole staff was just hiding in the kitchen all night. I don’t know what was going on, but whatever it was it effected your customers every single one of them. There was a five top family that was sat in the bar that took the same amount of time to even get their kids drinks out. And as a parent to have your kids waiting on something and having to console them and keep them busy till that is a very difficult thing and it’s not something you should be worried about when you’re supposed to be taken care of and you’re tipping a person to take care of you and your family. As a server and bartender, I never want my guest to worry about anything. All of us were concerned last night.
Food was bomb though! Your signature sauce is unbelievable.
Update: love seeing the owner respond only to people that luckily got to enjoy their Valentine’s Day, shows the professionalism and lack of respect they have for their customers.
