Sauce on the Side may be quick, and take food and drink orders at the counter, but we are not the standard fast-casual restaurant. After ordering food and drinks, we invite our guests to enjoy a hospitable, full-service experience – food, refills and additional service is provided at the table without the guest having to get up from their seat. Our food is award-winning, craveable and comforting. We make our own dough, prepare our sauces and dressings in-house, chop fresh produce and source high quality meats and cheeses. All of this work, allows us to deliver food to be proud of.

I arrived here around 2:50pm with my sons to grab some lunch. We are visiting STL from out of state. It wasn’t busy and we were the only ones there. I ordered around 3pm. We got the feliz navidad calzone, 5 piece pepperoni basil bites, and the taste two (calzone and buffalo chicken bites).
All the food came at 3:15pm. I was expecting the bites to come out first. This was the experience at a different location we tried 2 days prior.
Nonetheless, the food was just as delicious! It was made fresh. The mini is the perfect size. I got a regular size last time and I only ate half and took the other half home. My teen son (big appetite) couldn’t even finish the regular sized one. We ate at this establishment twice during our vacation, so that should tell you how good it was! If it was up to my teen, we would’ve eaten there a 3rd time! The food is great.
As a side note, After ordering and bringing the food, interaction with staff was very limited.

This was my first and last time ordering food from this place. I ordered the Puttanesca with no olives or feta. Apparently Ryan the manager is going to tell me my taste buds. Apparently, I don’t know what feta cheese is or the taste. Instead of him apologizing for the error. He wants to indicated that he made the calzone himself personal and he knows what was in the calzone. I also know what I’m allergic to and the taste as well. Needless to say I will NEVER order from this company again. It was truly a waste of my money

A friend wanted to try this out so we met here for dinner last night. I had previously visited their Wentzville location many years ago so I was game.
The calzones are creative and flavorful. You can also create your own. The crust is thick yet not too bready. I ordered the Meat Me in St. Louis and it didn’t disappoint. The sauce isn’t overly sweet, I would say it’s just right. I feel like you get a lot for your money.
They do offer a vegan calzone too.
This is a growing franchise that was founded in St Louis. They also offer salads and desserts.

We ordered takeout to pick up at 11:30, didn’t get the order until 12:20. Staff told me that they had received a big order and it’ll just be a couple minutes, but I ended up being there for almost an hour. At 11:30 it was just me and one dine in customer. Then it was getting busier with lines of people and I did notice a person with a huge takeout order. I understand and saw how busy it was, but then people who walked in and ordered started to get their meals and even left. A couple of customers with takeout orders also got theirs with no delay as they walked in. Staff told me the food was in the oven but I waited another 30min for that. Eventually I just had to ask, that’s when one of the staff offered to bring out the manager and perhaps give me a compensation. Then he came back and told me the “manager” is busy in the kitchen. He suggested me to call back in a couple hours to talk to him. My partner called at 2pm, and the manager said he wasn’t there when this incident happened? And did not mention any compensation, just brushed us off with “the dine in orders take priority”
At the end of the day, we don’t really care about being compensated or not, but being lied to and felt disrespected is why we decided to never come back to this restaurant. We used to love it here, and we are now thoroughly disappointed.

I was a bit skeptic because I’d never gone to a “calzone” restaurant but finally decided to try this place out. This thing right here was one of the most delicious things I’ve had in a while. It’s also a lot easier to eat with your hands than you’d think!

First time here. Definitely will not be the last. The staff was super friendly. The calzones were definitely the best we’ve ever had. If you have had it try it. They had vegetarian ones and a all vegan one. I was surprised to see that. I had the skinny V ( vegan) and my fiancée had the Garden. Amazing .

I had a very pleasant lunch. I dropped in at an odd hour for a quick salad after a flight, and though I was the only customer at that time, the staff were kind, helpful, and quick! The salad was tasty, filling, and reasonably priced.

Great calzone, made fresh bread is yum. Prob best I’ve ever had! Staff was super nice too. $15 for it and a drink and you’ll be full! I got the castanza and was yum. I don’t think any choice would be bad.

Absolutely delicious calzone spot! Will definitely be back again next time we’re in St Louis! Great atmosphere, friendly service, and even better food! They also have dessert calzones which we didn’t have room to try. Definitely stop in if you’re in the area!
