Farmer Boys purchases the freshest ingredients locally, whenever possible. It is embodied in our mascot and head of security, The Scarecrow, whose mission is to protect and serve farm fresh food. I usually have lunch at Farmers when I’m near one because I really enjoy the Cobb salad. However, this time I was a bit disappointed by the small amount of chicken in the salad — noticeably less than what I’ve received in the past and at other locations. When I mentioned it, I was told that the standard portion is just 3 ounces, but it truly was much less, which was surprising.

Delicious burger and the fried zucchini was amazing! This is a nice midpoint between fast food and a sit down restaurant. Counter service is good, food is fresh and fast, portions are huge! It is about $5 more per person than a drive thru, but a huge increase in quality.

I had the most terrible experience at this location. The manager Maria clearly needs to be trained in customer service. I ordered a cobb salad via drive thru and took it elsewhere to eat, to my surprise when I opened it there was no chicken just ham, I decided to go back and give them a chance to fix the problem and instead I was accused of taking home a salad and changing it which is laughable. The quality was not checked by Maria like she claimed and she said that’s the way things are done there oh well, how terrible! Do not waste money at this location, its not worth the headache and now I understand why its mostly empty at lunch time.

Love this place. They have a drive through and their food is always fresh.
They have amazing cheeseburgers, fries and drinks.
It is located in the corner of the Rio Rancho mall. Very easy to get to and quick service. If you are in the mood for a great burger, come to the store!

Seen this restaurant a few times on my commute and decided to stop by to grab dinner. First time here and the woman working the drive-thru recommended the Farmer burger. We ordered that along with the fiery chicken sandwich. Instead of fries, we got onion rings. We also got a strawberry shake. The food was alright. It wasn’t anything special even when compared to burger chains. The onion rings were bland and needed the ranch and ketchup to help it out. The shake was tasty, it is worth getting.
What stood out the most was the fact that our order was messed up. We checked the box they handed us and saw that it wasn’t what we had ordered so we went back in to get what we ordered. The girl working the drive-thru and the guy who handed us the food were quite afraid of the older woman who I assume was the manager. She was upset at the mistake and even I felt it. It was a mistake, no need to be so hostile to the workers and the customer!
