Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Now that I’m seeing all the one star review I know it’s not just me. I just started working in Terrell and my first visit to this Whataburger was last week. I ordered Potato taquitos and waited a long time for my food. When I finally got back to work I bit into it and there’s chunks of sausage in it. This may not be that big of an issue to some of you but I simply don’t eat pork. It absolutely disgusts me. There’s huge cross contamination concerns here and their food safety processes seem lacking. If you have food allergies I would be wary eating here. I once again tried them again today hoping it was a one off deal and ordered a potato taquito and requested a shelled egg instead of the box stuff they use. Same eggs they use for the breakfast burger. I was rudely told “We don’t do that.” It’s a simple request that every Whataburger I’ve ever been to has done it without a problem except for one that charged me for the egg. I didn’t agree with a charge for a substitution but the option was given. I wasn’t even given this option here. The customer service and food quality here is trash. I tried to reach out to the store manager through their website and still nobody has called me. Nobody cares here and it’s clear.

This is my favorite location usually! Asked for extra onions. Had less than 5. Paid for grilled jalapeños; not grilled; onion rings were crumbs; fries cold; replacement fries salted to the max.

There was some kind of equipment with a rusty screw in my salad. I ate some of the salad before discovering it and that was very upsetting. The manager apologized but unfortunately i can’t imagine ever eating here again

I don’t recommend this place. The floor was covered in water, the drinks were disgusting. I asked them to give me my money back, and they gave me a dirty look instead of apologizing. I asked for mayonnaise and ketchup, they didn’t bring it.

Drive thru order. Number 7 with cheese no tomatoes. I seriously had to wait 15 minutes at the drive thru window. I honked and was ignored. If I had not already paid I would have driven off. Two others behind me drove off and went next door to Taco Cabana. I should have checked my order. I get home and it was an Avocado burger. I can’t go back because I had to get back to my work meetings. Very frustrating service. What is even worse is the lack of customer support and acknowledgment of my poor experience. They just don’t care

The food always tastes good, but the service is always terrible. The drive thru always takes entirely way too long We ordered a meal, a single sandwhich, and large sweet tea. My husband had to repeat himself THREE TIMES to the window member. He spoke loud and clear, but she was too busy carrying on a separate conversation while he was ordering. Then she was trying to stifle a laugh when reading our order back…and my husband had to remind her of my tea. We made it all the way home and we were missing a sandwhich. I had to drive all the way back to the store to get the food I paid for. Maybe the staff needs a refresher. Customers should not have to return to the store to get all their food. Whataburger is expensive enough. Do better.

Grabbed a kids meal on the way home. Opened the bag to steal the parent tax french fry or 2 and grabbed cold, hard french fries. We had pulled away from the window just a moment before …. My kiddo said the burger was cold and ended up eating a PB&J.
If its gonna take 20 minutes for me to get thru the line in your drive thru, please dont make my food and leave it sitting for 20 minutes to get cold. Thats just common sense.

It’s quickly turning into the quality of every other Whataburger. I sat in line for 15 minutes at the drive-through and nobody answered the intercom. I had six cards behind me. I drove to the window and they said they were having issues, instead of sending somebody out to take orders they just had seven cars sitting in line. I didn’t dare place an order in fear of them, spitting, putting pubic hairs, or anything else in my food. Incompetent starts at the top. At this location just go to Buckys and get yourself a good brisket burger

SLOW. If you’re in a hurry or just want to not be in the drive thru for 20+ minutes DO NOT STOP HERE. Consistently this has been my experience & it’s annoying. This particular visit I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes, I get out to go inside thinking my order should be finished, but to my surprise it isn’t. Waited another 10 minutes just to receives cold food. RIDICULOUS.

Now I know y’all have got to be lying. It’s one thing to get cold stale black coffee at 4 AM in the morning on my way to work but now this. I even placed my order online for pick up not one car was in line when I arrived and still waited 10 minutes because they didn’t see the order placed 20 minutes ago just to get this. Do better, please. I really wish more places were open at 4AM other than Whataburger on this side of town because these employees clearly don’t care about their jobs.
