We had a great experience at this diner! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out fast. The portions were generous and everything tasted homemade. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in.
The atmosphere was cozy and classic — exactly what you’d expect from a good American diner. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I gave this place a 2nd chance, after my husband requested steak and eggs. Not only was the service flat and unwelcoming but the steak I ordered was RAW after requesting “well done”.
97% of the steak was fat and the other 3% raw and hard to cut. Stale toast and white “home fries” I felt jilted even with the 10$ discount so I paid 15$ for bread and potatoes, not even asked to replace with a different option. I am so hurt I spent 60$ at this place for 2 plates. I alone spend 90+ on myself for solo dates but this was worse than a free meal at a soup kitchen. I would’ve enjoyed pork and beans at home for 3$ than this dish. So upset I wasted my money again on this place it will definitely be THE LAST TIME. I feel like I literally dropped cash out my wallet

We come here often for a late breakfast and the food is always great and the waitstaff are super sweet. It’s one of the few places nearby that has good waffles, they’re so fluffy and the flavor is excellent. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious. It’s a little pricey for a diner but I think it’s worth it.

I have been coming here since 2017 regularly. I can’t say enough about this place. Everyone is happy to be here, work here. They take free pride in their food here. The ingredients are top notch. They have (7) different teas. A variety of Hershey Ice Creams that they use for desserts and for their famous milk shakes. They do mimosas in 3 different flavors and Coffeccino’s Hot and Cold. The service is always consistent and fast for me. But I do come solo. Some of my favorites are BLT club (triple decker, Hash & Eggs, Chicken ala New Britain, Chicken Francaise, Irish Benedict, Eggs Benedict, Stuffed Crepes with whipped creme, sausage and bacon. The coke slaw here is to die for and excellent for gut health. I take my salads here with their house Greek dressing. Whenever I sit at the bar here the customers are almost always willing to engage. Very friendly people here. You don’t find these sorts of things at every diner. The ambiance is the usual diner atmosphere only much more cozy. Most of the wait staff here has been her over 10 years. I’ve eaten here many times. For me, it’s either hit or miss. The staff is very nice, which is good (give them a raise, they make the place) the food, it’s ehhh. Sometimes they nail it and it’s good. The last time I came here, (last week) I ordered French toast, with a side of bacon and potatoes. The bacon tasted as if it was sitting out a bit (it could have been, it was late morning) the potatoes tasted as if they boiled them, drained them (not all the way) added paprika, and sent it to my table. The French toast was cold. Would I give it another chance? Maybe… if someone goes and it WOW’s them.. maybe

So…… Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste ( dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!

I randomly came here with my family for a quick bite to eat. It was okay. I ordered boneless chicken, French fries and a side of bacon. Our server was really nice.
