Pretty tasty food but overpriced. $8 for a “bowl” of soup that I can hold in the palm of my hand? $19 for a sandwich that I’ve paid $10 for at other places. You pay $2 extra to get onion rings as a side and you get about 5-6 rings. The pie is quite good but it’s just frustrating this place is unreasonably expensive compared to others. Also my Dasher had to ask for the pie they were out of to be substituted. They were just going to leave it out.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Flys are everywhere, and watch your step they have space heaters through out the building I believe the Centeral heating is out. Pat is not a nice lady.. customer service skills = zero. Everything is still dirty including the lights over the tables. The building has a strange odor Normally I’m not picky.. but god damn this place needs some love.

I came here with a group of my friends for brunch and our server, Pat, was very rude. She forgot to order one of my friend’s sides so our food was waiting and got cold. We could hear her yelling across the restaurant at the kitchen saying “I forgot to ring in a second one!” and to other tables saying “I forgot your strawberries!”. The food was very good and worth the wait however the service was terrible. (We had to wait a long time, but that might be the server not putting in our order right away) When we asked for waters she seemed inconvenienced. She also barely came to check on us and we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. There were flies, cobwebs and the lights above the tables weren’t dusted. At the end, she complained to me about my friend not tipping her enough, which I believe a server should never do. Pat/Pati and other servers like that can deteriorate a restaurant.

It’s a good alternative if you are looking for a st down place. Food could use a bit more seasoning, has browns were under cooked. Coffee was good and the omelet was average. Staff was hustling as usual being short handed. But was overall ok.

It was my first time at Shari’s and it was exactly what I expected it to be. Big plates of greasy comfort food. We all need this once in a while! I was happy that there was avocado with the veggie omelette. My omelette was undercooked though. I enjoyed the hash browns and regretted not getting the stuffed ones as those looked really good. It was nice to be able to have pancakes instead of toast – unfortunately I had no room for them at the end. The coffee was very weak. The service was quick and friendly. I haven’t had a chance to try their pie. I would come back for that!

I am absolutely disgusted. I have been ordering whole banana cream pies for years to celebrate my Mother’s Heavenly Birthday. When my local Shari’s closed, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get another one. I was relieved to see the Canyon rd location was still open. I placed my order the day before, to pick up today. The pie I got in Nasty with a weird texture and no bananas. The top of the pie has a weird artificial whip cream that is not only tasteless but also has a weird texture. I called the location wanting a refund I was told I could only exchange it. Why would I want more of this disgusting pie? Seriously. Guess from now on I will be making my own.

The pie is a winner! Everything else foodwise is subpar. We got the chicken fried steak dinner: flavor was just ok, the potatoes were actually cold and the broccoli looked dirty. The server was nice, but unfortunately, the service was just ok. Definitely recommend the pie, everything else is a take or leave at any given time.
