Hidden gym in Azle Tx. Service was great! Very friendly & attentive waitress. Restaurant decorated very authentic. Ordered chicken sour cream enchilada- ground beef taco plate. Also the chicken fajita plate. Delicious! Also had the frozen Margarita. Very good. They gave a senior – child- lunch menu. Salsa & chips also very flavorful. Nice bar area. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful time at Villa Del Sol! The atmosphere truly captures the heart of Mexico vibrant, warm, and authentic. Our server, Amy N, was absolutely amazing! Super fun, friendly, and incredibly communicative.
One thing I especially appreciated is that Amy spoke both English and Spanish fluently. That’s such an important touch in a Mexican restaurant it keeps the cultural experience genuine. It felt like being back in Mexico with delicious food and that familiar warm hospitality.
The food was flavorful, fresh, and well presented. Everything from the fajitas to the enchiladas was top-notch. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Amy again!

We have a large family, and when we dine out together, it’s usually a mess. We understand this, so when we came to Villa del Sol yesterday with a table of 27, we expected many delays. That, however, did not happen. We landed the best waitress in the world. (I believe her name was Amy). This woman was a superhero. The moment a drink looked relatively low, she swooped in with another one. Our chip baskets and salsas were being replenished left and right without us ever needing to ask. Drinks came from the bar quickly. Appetizers were extremely prompt, as was our meal. Everyone got served within five minutes, and nothing was wrong. Not a single item missing, and no one left waiting. We were all thoroughly impressed, considering some restaurants have had an extremely hard time accommodating us with multiple waiters on hand. Hats off to Amy!!! She really knew what she was doing. The food here is also excellent, so all around, we had a fantastic experience.

We spent the weekend in Azel with family. We knew the food had to be good for all the people waiting to eat! No disappointment. There were 10 of us and as soon as we sat down we received our chips and Salsa and ordered our drinks. A great variety of food. Our waitress “Amy” came to get our order. Before she left our table she confirmed what we had ordered (no notes were written). She looked at each of us and confirmed our order. She came back and moved an empty table up to ours so we had enough room to eat with comfort. Every dish she brought was exactly what we ordered and food was amazing! Amy’s a keeper

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Villa del Sol in Azle today, and it was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance is casual and inviting, with beautiful, decorative paintings on almost every wall that make the space feel warm and authentic.
The food was simply fantastic. We started with the guacamole, which was perfectly chunky and fresh – a definite must-order! For our main courses, we had the Monterey Chicken and the Carnitas Chipotle Burrito. Both dishes were presented beautifully; the burrito was so large it had to be split, and both plates were enticingly decorated. Everything arrived at the perfect temperature and was packed with flavor. The Don Julio margaritas were expertly made and the perfect complement to our meal.
What truly set our experience apart, however, was the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and cheerful. Our waitress, Erika, was the cream of the crop – her smile was infectious, and her service was impeccable. We even had a chance to speak with one of the managers, Oscar, to share our praise for the wonderful job they are all doing. We later discovered that Oscar is a co-owner.
Despite the restaurant being busy, our food was served in a very reasonable amount of time. For the quantity and quality of the food and drinks, the price was absolutely ideal.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Villa del Sol to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are already planning our visit to its sister store, Mas Salsa, and can’t wait to return!
