Reviews
We were just driving by around 10 a.m. and noticed the parking lot was already quite full, so we decided to stop in and give it a try. Even though the restaurant was busy, we didn’t have to wait long at all to be seated.
Space & atmosphere
The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the entrance. What you see at the front is only part of it — there’s a large dining area to the right after you walk in.
• The very back area is perfect for group gatherings (around 5+ people) and feels almost like a party room
• Moving forward, there are sections for 2–4 people, arranged in three rows:
• A booth-and-table row by the windows
• A middle row and a wall-side row with tables and chairs
The seating is fairly dense, but it doesn’t affect the dining experience at all.
Food & menu
The three of us all ordered different dishes, and every portion was huge.
The flavors are very well balanced — not too sweet, not too salty — making it easy for anyone to enjoy. There are lots of options, and many combos let you choose sides like pancakes, hash browns, or other breakfast items.
The prices are very reasonable — under $20 per person, and the portions are so large that most tables end up taking leftovers home.
What I ordered
• One dish was served directly in a skillet, which was a really fun and unique presentation
• The base had potatoes, shredded cheese, and large chunks of beef
• Eggs were layered on top
• And honestly — they gave FOUR eggs. Super generous!
• I also ordered the Hawaiian fried rice
• The portion was massive
• Half the plate was eggs mixed with pineapple, very refreshing
• Topped with fresh banana slices and strawberries
• The other half came with hash browns (my choice), which were crispy and delicious
What I ordered for my child
I chose the San Francisco dish:
• You can choose between two soups that day:
• Chicken noodle soup
• Creamy broccoli soup
• It came with toasted bread, thin-sliced beef, and cheese — such a great combination
• Also included were half a pickle and fresh tomato slices
• The side I picked was fries, but you can also choose pancakes, hash browns, cabbage, and more
• We were also given a large plate of biscuits, which paired perfectly with the chicken noodle soup — the aroma was amazing
Other highlights
• Free parking with a very large lot — no parking stress at all
• The servers were extremely patient and helpful, especially since it was our first time
• I personally loved the menu design
• Simple
• Clear
• Easy to understand
Unlike many restaurants where the menu feels overwhelming, this one made it easy to decide right away
Overall
This is a place where you can honestly order anything and not worry about being disappointed.
Big portions, great prices, balanced flavors, friendly service, and easy parking.
Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
tiny pieces of stuffed french toast DROWNED in strawberry syrup. finished the eggs and didnt even eat the french toast cause it was nasty.
heard really good things about this place, had it once or twice in the last maybe fours years? food prices are going up, but quality, taste and quantity is going down.
Also have to give them props for having Pepsi products. Definitely adding this place to my #PepsiStops
Parking lot needs fixing like most Michigan roads.
