We waited 15 minutes to order so I ended up placing a mobile order and they brought it out fast but it was wrong. Not even close to the drinks we ordered. I don’t know why every sonic is so chaotic but they need to get a better system going ASAP!

Don’t go to the Sonic in Troy Alabama unless you want TERRIBLE service and product (see my pictures).
I went to the Sonic in Troy Alabama at 1150 US Hwy S 231, Troy, Alabama, and ordered two of the biggest strawberry limeaid drinks with extra strawberry along with two other drinks.
When I pulled out of the parking lot and took a sip of the drink, it was awful. Not only did it not have enough strawberry juice to turn the ice totally pink, but it did NOT have any limeaid!!! It was just all ice!!!
Furthermore, I had asked for very little ice in one of the other drinks, and it was full almost to the brim with ice.
I had stood in traffic for 15 minutes getting to the Sonic and with the construction on 231 I had to drive 2 miles or so to even turn around and the traffic going back was even worse, so I called Sonic and told them what happened and they said all they could do was offer me a fry and a hamburger… NOT replacement drinks!!!
After being on the phone for 21 minutes and 40 seconds waiting for them to even give me a fry and hamburger credit, they still hadn’t given me the credit, so I finally hung up.
This is so sad because Sonic used to be a great place for food and limeaid drinks! They certainly have lost my business.

Pulled up at 11P after a very long day. Waited forever for my “fast food,” while I watched an employee through the window dancing around, sipping a drink…wish I had my drink. 2 orders of pickle seasoned tater tots, 1 order of pickle seasoned fries, and an ocean water took 30 minutes, just to open a bag of cold food. You would of thought the young lady that brought the food to the stall had cement blocks on her feet! I will never be back. No receipt in the bag either. The service here was horrible, incompetent, and embarrassing. Just throw the whole Sonic away!!

This sonic has the best service by far! The male employee was very pleasant when I was ordering food. The female waitress that delivered my food was very nice and had a great attitude. My food was made correctly and hot. My drink was made correctly as well. I am not from the area, but I pass by here often. I will be back!

Avoid at all cost!
Place looking run down and ordering screens being broken should’ve been my sign to skip but unfortunately I did not. I love sonic and I feel like they have some of the best burgers but this place is garbage. We showed up at 11 and the burgers we got were cooked no less than half an hour before we got them, very dry and lukewarm. Fritos were very stale in the wrap. Onion rings tasted very off but that may be how they are, I’ve never tried them. Leave this place alone.

Absolutely unacceptable. If I could give zero stars, I would. We waited over an hour and ten minutes at Sonic and never got our food. After 30 minutes, we called over the speaker—they said it would be out “shortly.” Another 40 minutes passed. My husband finally walked up to the door, they asked for our name, number and order number, and was told they’d call us when it was ready. They never did.
We were stuck in the car with two hungry, restless babies. This wasn’t just poor service—it was complete negligence. I’ve never experienced anything this disorganized or disrespectful from a business. We left angry, disappointed, and still hungry.

I was so hungry until I got down towards the end and realized that I had been eating a Soybean burger. I ordered the Super Sonic sandwich (only), usually this Is both mine and my husband’s favorite burger. It’s always so juicy and full of flavor. Today it was Dry and you could most definitely taste the SOYBEAN… 100% beef… Lol not today!!!
This was almost $8.00…I was highly dissatisfied. I even asked one of the employees, has thry switched the Beef patties for the alleged Soybean patties. Dge exclaimed that she didn’t know, but then quickly said yes ma’am I think we do have a different Pattie. I’m guessing they rah out and had to improvise, or maybe the manager didn’t order enough … I’m really not for certain what the issue was, but now my stomach Is aching and I’m feeling discomfort..

Went and placed an order and was NOT told that the card reader was down. It took 20 minutes for them the bring out my food just to tell me its cash only… long story short didn’t have cash and so didnt get my food. Couldve at least said something when i ordered☹️
