Atmosphere is lovely, feels like a true German home/restaurant. Very clean and cozy. The food was amazing, we had two appetizers and two entrees, all of which were mouth watering, with bold flavors and served hot. Very nice staff who provided fast and friendly service. We will be back and highly recommend!

If I could give the Alpenrose 10 stars, I would. Walking into the restaurant, the first thing you notice is the desert display. Note to self….leave room for that! The service was impeccable. The server remembered my dad from weeks earlier and what he had ordered. The food was wonderfully prepared to perfection and presented. The portions were perfectly sized. The decor was nice and the European music was upbeat. Our entire group loved it!

What a great place to enjoy outdoor dining and a delicious meal. The bruschetta app was fantastic along with their Aspen Spritzer, which was as beautiful (see pic) as it was delicious.

Great ambience and vibe both inside and out. Food is what I think of as German comfort fare, schnitzel, spaetzle, goulash, rouladen, etc, but at Vail prices. Dessert was a selection of baked goods from their case, which was initially exciting in appearance, but then disappointing in taste. Also they unfortunately didn’t include Black Forest cake. Overall a nice alpine restaurant, but i can’t get over how expensive it is even if I’m heart of vail

Great ambience and very cozy inside. The staff is great and the service was outstanding. The drinks are good. We enjoyed all the items that we ordered. The presentation was the main highlight here and the food was good too. We didn’t get a chance to try desserts but they mostly have just cakes.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at anywhere. It is by far the best German restaurant around. From the decor, to the service, it was all wonderful. The food was delicious. I can’t wait to come back.

I just love this place. I’ve been coming here for over twenty years and I know it’s changed owners over that time but it’s better than ever. The food is always amazing. The presentation just as much so. The best you can get this side of the Alps.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alpenrose Vail, a charming German-themed restaurant, and I must say that it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a cozy Alpine setting, surrounded by warm hospitality, delicious food, and adorable drink presentations. I wholeheartedly give Alpenrose Vail a five-star rating for providing an amazing experience.

Great EVERYTHING at Alpenrose! Staff, ambiance, food, drinks, EVERYTHING! I would love to come back and experience the gondola dining (and exclusive gondola menu), but I have zero complaints about my first experience.

We enjoyed a drink and an appetizer at Alpenrose, and we definitely want to return for dinner sometime! And when we do return, we need to save room for dessert. The desserts are on display and they look amazing! The restaurant is a gem- super quaint with very friendly and helpful staff. Angie was our server!
