Reviews
The Pho Dac Biet features a clear, well-balanced broth with clean beef flavor and restrained spice. The Bún Bò Huế stands out with pronounced lemongrass aroma and a proper chili oil kick—bold but not overwhelming, very true to its central Vietnam roots. The Bò Tái Chanh is fresh and vibrant, with bright acidity and good beef quality; it’s meant to be mixed and eaten immediately. Spring rolls are crisp and evenly fried, while the shrimp salad rolls are light and clean. The Vietnamese phin coffee is served strong and uncut, with hot water on the side so you can adjust to taste—exactly how it should be. Overall, flavors lean Southern Vietnamese without being diluted for the market. Consistent execution, confident seasoning, and a menu that rewards diners who explore beyond pho.
• Good comfort food and very satisfying.
Also tried their MASSIVE tamarind drink which was quite sweet and like a juice. Very interesting.
Service was very fast and our party of 2 got seated quite quickly despite the crowds
The menu at Phở 37 is quite diverse, featuring not only traditional Vietnamese pho but also a variety of appetizers, rice dishes, vermicelli bowls, and beverages. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-balanced, staying true to authentic Vietnamese taste while still being approachable for different palates. The broth was fragrant, the noodles tender, and the ingredients fresh.
Service was efficient and friendly, contributing to an overall smooth dining experience. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and left feeling very satisfied. Phở 37 is definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Richmond and craving comforting Vietnamese cuisine in a bright, modern space. I would happily return on another visit.
After registering my name today, I quickly secured a seat in the private room.
To be honest, overall, the level of Vietnamese soup noodles did not meet my expectations… surprisingly, many noodles would break…
The soup is also sweet and not even hot after serving, which I cannot understand…
The only consolation is that the fried chicken wings are indeed good.
The lemongrass chicken and prawn salad rolls were solid, about on par with other restaurants. But what really stood out to me was how quickly everything came out—less than 5 minutes! The decor also added to the whole experience, making it such a great spot overall. Definitely worth checking out.
