This is now my favorite restaurant in Ohio!
We had a lovely, extremely delicious dinner by candlelight, while music from the 1940’s, 1950’s, and 1960’s played in the background. It was a wonderful experience!
I would love to dine here again soon for the atmosphere alone, but the food is fantastic!
Our server was Macrey and he was perfect!
The only way this place could be improved would be by having a dance floor. I genuinely love this place!

This was our first experience visiting Caruso’s and it didn’t disappoint! We have dined at many Italian Restaurants, both locally and across the country and Caruso’s definitely ranks in the top 3 all time. Our server did an excellent job and the food was fabulous! We chose the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo and the Bob’s Chicken Parmesan. For dessert we picked the Caruso’s Crème Brûlée. Thanks for a great meal, we will be back!

I’ve been 3-4 times now and had excellent food every visit. This building formerly held The Spinning Fork, but I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit that Caruso’s is more in tune with a fine dining experience. If you’re on a tight budget or in a rush, I’d suggest going a different route, but if you’re looking for a genuinely nice, delicious Italian meal then this is a very solid recommendation.
All of the appetizers I’ve had were very good, but the Arancini might be my favorite. They’re plump, fried risotto balls, stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, with marinara sauce and olive oil. I really came to talk about the entrees though, as they’re a knockout. Just superb. My girlfriend loves the Gnocchi Bolognese, and I can attest it’s expertly crafted. But my favorite (see attached picture) is the Rigatoni Rustica. Now in the pantheon of my favorite Italian dishes period. Rigatoni, spicy sausage bits, chicken, sliced shishito peppers, white wine cream sauce, and baked to finish. Words won’t do it justice. The cream sauce is heavenly, and the sausage and peppers give it amazing flavor and texture, baking it at the end makes the dish come out scalding hot, which makes the flavors shine even more.
Last night we had a server named Kevin, at first, I was a little surprised as he seemed very young, but did a terrific job, even gave me some “off-menu” tips like you can swap out or mix sauces on a lot of their signature dishes, etc. Looking forward to my next meal there.

I had the meatball app, the chicken parm and carrot cake! The food was great except they could have strained the pasta a little longer. There was so much water under the pasta and chicken parm, it caused the chicken parm breading to get soggy and fall off! A little disappointing, but the flavor was still there. The service was exceptional!!!

One word…WOW! From the time we were seated till when we left the service was spot on. We started with fresh sourdough w/ dipping oil and whipped butter (got 2 baskets). Then onto the 2 appetizers…Meatballs and Arancini…amazing! Main course was Gnocchi w/ Veal and beef topped with basil, Rigatoni Rustica, chicken parm and then linguini w/ mussels and blackened shrimp. And topped it all with the Ricotta doughnuts w/ chocolate, vanilla and raspberry sauces for our anniversary. All the pasta is made homemade daily and your meal prepared when you order! Our service was amazing!!!! HIGHLY recommend Caruso’s for excellent Italian food!

A delightful gem in Fairfield. I have been there many times. Never had the same item twice. Always great service and quality. The atmosphere is open, yet intimate, sitting in the bar area for small parties and outside or in the side room for larger groups. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely evening with a great bottle of wine and killer bread. Meghan was our amazing server, she took the pictures. I suggest the fried risotto balls or toasted ravioli to start, pasta/mains “Do Not Miss”, and plenty of dessert options, we went with carrot cake. Highly recommend!!!

Look, we’re new to the area and my girlfriend, friend, and I went to try this place with amazing reviews and ambiance. We were really impressed when we walked through the door, until we realized that they weren’t ready for our reservation. Things only went down hill from there. The water tasted like rust, which had every member of my party buy drinks that we typically wouldn’t. We summed this up to just something that could be made up for by the food, but low and behold we were mistaken. We ordered appetizers 11 minutes after we sat down and only saw our food 40 minutes later. To make it worse, the food was cold and our server was audacious enough to say that “the mussels took a long time to come out”. Once again, the food was cold… Our server may have noticed our inhibitions if they had stopped by more than 4 times during our meal, unfortunately we’ll never know. After we sat, a group of 20+ sat down and somehow saw food before we did. I mean you genuinely can’t make this up. The food then came out and was a typically grease trap. People who enjoy eating grease and cheese with a side of pasta or pizza will love it here! I wish I could say that all of this was happening because it was a full house, but there were open tables everywhere (some clean, others not). Overall, I was expecting so much more, and I pray for those who come after that they correct most (since all would be impossible) of these problems. Please take this seriously since it is probably the only not bought and paid for review.

Great local scratch kitchen (made to order). Calamari appetizer was excellent, cooked well (not rubbery/chewy. Mushroom entree was excellent. Definitely recommend. My only complaint is that the chairs are uncomfortable hence the4 stars for atmosphere…..
