spot if you’re looking for a relaxed and stylish place to stop in for a drink. We came by for a quick cocktail and ended up really enjoying the chill vibe at the bar. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting,
making it an easy place to unwind.
The cocktails were delicious and well made, and they also offer a nice selection of oysters, which were fresh and very tasty. Everything we tried was high quality and left a great impression.
Overall, Fin Point Oyster Bar + Grille is a solid choice for drinks and light bites, and it definitely made us want to come back to enjoy a full meal. I’ll absolutely be returning to dine there.
The food absolutely exceeded our expectations. The shrimp taco was just okay, but the clam chowder and seared scallops were out of this world — super well-balanced, rich in flavor, and packed with meat.
We finished with the chocolate mousse, which was perfectly balanced — deep chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. Every bite felt thoughtful.
10/10. Totally worth the accidental stop.
Fin Point delivers an upscale yet modern seafood experience. The interior is beautiful and well-maintained, especially the cozy lounge seating, which adds a relaxed touch to the elegant vibe. There’s also a sleek bar area and a handful of table options for different dining preferences.
The service was generally good, though our server seemed a bit distracted, and drinks took a little longer than expected—but they were absolutely worth the wait.
We came during their happy hour ($1 oysters on Fridays from 2–5 PM), and everything we ordered was a hit. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and the mussels were exceptional—served in a rich, mouthwatering sauce with perfectly toasted bread for dipping.
I’ll definitely be coming back to Fin Point.
From the moment I sat at the bar, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They walked me through appetizers on one visit, helped me decide on dessert another night, and everything I ordered was delicious. But what really stood out wasn’t just the food — it was the experience.
They introduced me to other patrons, sparked great conversations, and created that rare feeling of genuine connection. Finding that kind of warmth and community while traveling for work isn’t always easy, and it absolutely deserves to be recognized.
I’ve now been three times. I typically rotate hotels when I’m in Boston just to try new places, but because of the consistently high-quality service — not just at the hotel, but especially at the restaurant and bar — I’ll be prioritizing staying here moving forward.
Stephanie and Anna go above and beyond, and it shows. Thank you both for the hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.
We started with the Cold Seafood Tower ($89), a grand presentation featuring a luxe assortment of oysters (including Lemon Stone and Mere Points), jumbo shrimp, half a lobster, and salmon tartare. The oysters were fresh, briny, and beautifully chilled—perfectly reflecting Boston’s East Coast pedigree.
Since we weren’t starving, but still hungry, we opted to share the Lobster Ravioli ($36), made with Maine lobster and ricotta in a creamy mushroom sauce … It was indulgent, balanced, and enough for two without feeling heavy.
A shoutout to our bartender, Stephanie, who brought energy and charm to the evening. She crafted excellent cocktails and kept the conversation as fresh as the seafood—she’s a real asset to the team.
To cap off the meal, the restaurant surprised us with the Four‑Dessert Sampler (petit fours, sorbet, mousse, and strawberry shortcake)—each bite delightful and visually appealing. We paired it with a glass of Allegrini Palazzo della Torre Amarone red wine ($15), which offered deep cherry notes and a velvety finish—an inspired choice from Stephanie’s recommendation
What stood out:
– Fresh, varied oysters, especially Lemon Stone & Mere Points
– Rich, flavorful lobster ravioli—perfectly portioned
– Stellar service from Stephanie, our bubbly and knowledgeable bartender
– Impressive dessert sampler and expertly chosen Amarone
Bottom line: Fin Point delivers an elevated seafood experience with standout flavors and top-tier service. Ideal for a date night or special occasion—don’t miss the seafood tower and lobster ravioli, and let Stephanie guide you on drinks and desserts!
For the 3-course dinner, I had the clam chowder, followed by the beef tenderloin, and ended with a decadent chocolate mousse for dessert. Let’s just say, roll me out of there—I’m absolutely stuffed!
