Really good! My family and I came here for New Years Eve dinner and had a great meal. We started with the devil eggs and lemon hummus, both were excellent. I got the salmon entree which was really good just a small portion. My mom got the vegetarian tacos which were a much larger portion. Our waiter was very kind and very busy but she was working hard! The restaurant itself is pretty small but the patio is nice and warm. Overall this place was a nice atmosphere and would definitely come back!

Hailey provided sufficient service. She offered recommendations was prompt with order arrivals and remedied a mishap concerning tab cakes that were served cold. Aside from the crab cakes; our group enjoyed the classic breakfast & avocado fries. The patio view was spectacular. It was nice to have the glass shield us from wind chill as we dined.

One of the best restaurants in Sedona. They have a nice luxurious interior, and a beautiful patio with gorgeous views! The menu is classy yet delicious! We always get the “overstuffed bacon & eggs” deviled eggs, they are amazing! The Blueberry Ricotta pancakes melt in your mouth!!! And the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was so good I couldn’t even wait to take a picture! The whole menu is incredible. The service is always equally great, with friendly employees and a great atmosphere! If you’re in Sedona, you have to eat here!

The crab cakes were very tasty!

We had the sea bass which was good but wasn’t quite as flavorful as I was looking for. The short rib was delicious, I highly suggest the key lime pie as a must have to close out the evening.

The sushi was also very good and we have high standards.

Nice restaurant in Sedona. Fighting the holiday crowds and traffic everywhere, we grabbed three spots at the bar and ordered dinner from there. Rachel took excellent care of us and we witnessed her bartending finesse and lively conversation skills. Really chill atmosphere and surprisingly flavorful dishes.

Great spot with a chill, trendy minimalist vibe. The food was delicious, and the Bloody Mary might be the best I’ve had yet. We ordered the BLTE and everything was fresh and well balanced. Beautiful views. Heated patio. Definitely recommend!

Shorebird has a nice setting and overall solid food, though it’s on the pricier side. That said, this is Sedona, so the pricing isn’t surprising.

The pork chop was very tender, but there was a noticeable smell near the bone that took away from the experience. The fish had great texture—tender inside with a crispy exterior—but it was under-seasoned for my taste.

Avocado fries are basically avocado tempura—good, but exactly what you’d expect. The deviled eggs were fine and well stuffed, but not a standout or must-order item.

Overall, a decent meal with good execution on textures, but flavors could be more refined given the price.

The food here is incredible, the fish is perfect and the views are beautiful! Not pictured is the nigiri which is amazing and fresh! Another note worthy dish is the avocado fries with lemon aioli. Great spot and upscale vibes.

Christmas Day dining is the hospitality equivalent of a stress test. We showed up scheduled for four… and arrived as five. A lesser establishment would have smiled politely while mentally drafting our rejection letter. Shorebird did the opposite.

Yes, the opening moments were slightly shaky—understandable given the date, the demand, and the surprise guest—but what followed was a masterclass in leadership and grace. The manager didn’t just “make it work”; they went the extra mile with professionalism, calm, and genuine warmth. Within minutes, we were seated, welcomed, and very glad we hadn’t chosen to eat leftovers at home.

Then came the food.

From the first bite of the deviled eggs—elevated, confident, and unapologetically delicious—it was clear this kitchen understands restraint, balance, and flavor. Every course felt intentional. Not flashy for the sake of flash, but thoughtful, precise, and deeply satisfying. By the time dessert arrived, there was no doubt: the food wasn’t just good—it was memorable.

What truly sets Shorebird apart, however, is that the meal never stood alone. Service here is not transactional; it’s performative in the best possible way. The staff was polished without being pretentious, attentive without hovering, and clearly very well trained. Timing, tone, and presence were all dialed in. It felt less like being served and more like being guided through an experience.

And that’s the point: Shorebird understands something many restaurants miss—food is only half the equation. Hospitality, environment, pacing, and personality are what turn dinner into an event. This place delivers all of it. Comfort with confidence. Creativity without chaos. Professionalism with personality.

If there were a master class on how great food plus exceptional hospitality creates a true dining experience, Shorebird could teach it.

Out-of-the-box, dialed-in, and absolutely worth it—especially on a day when expectations are high and patience is thin. Shorebird didn’t just meet the moment; it owned it.

I came to Shorebird Coastal Kitchen because I was craving sushi and was excited to try a roll. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations.

The sushi roll was overwhelmingly rice — probably 90% rice with very small pieces of fish. It felt unbalanced and not worth the price. I also asked for extra wasabi and was surprised to be charged $2 for it.

Overall, the quality of the sushi didn’t justify the cost, and I left disappointed.
