Scarlet’s Saloon / Powerhouse Pub is one of my friend’s and I’s go to spots for a fun night out. It’s a spacious bar with multiple rooms for whatever you’re feeling! There’s three rooms/bar areas that each play different music and have a different vibe going on. The cover is typically $20 and they do have an atm on site you can use. One of the bars is cash only the others take card.
Usually my friends and I go to the zombie room because the bartender there is super nice and makes really yummy fruity drinks. This room has tons of neon paint and funky decor, it’s also where they have live music playing and an upstairs area you can sit in. The other areas are indoor/outdoor and they have seats outside on the front and back patio you can sit and smoke at.
Depending on a lot of factors you might love it or might not. There’s a big mix of people you’ll meet here and there are some interesting individuals you’ll meet. For the most part the music is decent, lots of space to dance, good drinks, and you can definitely make it more fun with a great group of people.

TLDR: There’s 3 different rooms/styles of music at all times, $20 cover, hookah/cigars, and Lotssss of security
This place is definitely a powerhouse. There’s a lot of places in the Sacramento/Folsom area that charge $20, this is one of the few places I felt like that was worth it.
There’s tons of seating indoors and outdoors. When you first walk in, there’s a live band, a bar, and a fun light up dance floor. The live band was playing pop covers from the 80s to now, super fun mix.
Second and third rooms are open air, but there’s lots of space heaters. One of the rooms had like a hip-hop/R&B type vibe.
There were cigars and hookah, and I like the way they have the hookah set up definitely safe to be around drunk people. The third room had a Latin flare and an area to dance up by the dj
Well drinks were about $12 and there’s a lot of staff, ample bar tenders and security so despite how busy it was- it was also easy to get a drink and felt very safe. 10/10 reccomend

Such a fun place to go for live music. They have a great atmosphere and ambiance. The dance floor lights up with led images and the music draws you in to dance. Everyone there was cool, including the doorman.
Best dirty martinis in the area.

They don’t serve food there. They do serve great live music and fun. I love that their dance floor is lit up. It looks like the floor is made with light-up tiles. So much fun. Parking is ridiculously hard to find, but that’s Sutter Street in Folsom for ya.

My first Powerhouse experience kinda sucked, so a friend invited me out to Tuesday night live karaoke to rectify that memory. The band was awesome. They had a pretty extensive list of good songs to choose from, and the front man was very fun and engaging. The talent for the night was varied, but sofa King fun to watch. I loved watching other people fully enjoying themselves. I had a great night, and the drinks were pretty good, too.
The venue is very much my personal aesthetic. I loved it.

This place would have unique decor Inside to see from ceiling to the stage good bands from Blues too Rock would play. It also has a dance floor to enjoy two bars an upstairs second floor to view the band. There is outside close patio to still enjoy the band music or a DJ that would play at certain times with another bar outside too. Seating is available out in the patio if it gets Hot there is water mist that don’t get you wet but feels refreshing. Worth going.

I was in town for a training. The whole group decided to drop in when we heard they have live band karaoke.
This place has incredible atmosphere, in a high-class dive bar sort of way. Staff was all friendly and having a great time. Though the bell ringing may have been a bit aggressive. All the customers were in great spirits. The band was amazing.
What blew me away the most was that the dance floor is made out of dvLED panels, so it’s basically a huge tv screen. I work in AV and knew it was possible, but haven’t ever seen a place make that sort of investment. It’s wild, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Saw the band, Cold Blood, which is an East Bay Grease band. It’s has similar roots to Tower of power and it was a great show. Service and atmosphere is fantastic but don’t go there for a meal unless it’s not during a show. Foods are limited but you can eat at least a snack or two. Across the street is probably one of the best pizza places that you’re going to find. I like sitting upstairs for the venue since you can see pretty much everything. Warning, the floor upstairs is very sticky and it’s carpet. So, think about that when you go.

Was charged $56 for a vodka cran and a vodka redbull, double shot, crazy enough. But was halfway done with the drink waiting to taste any alcohol. There was little to none in each drink. Brought it back and she refused to remake or just give us money back since the drinks were half drank. Only reason they were was because we were waiting to see if it was all at the bottom??
