Grabbed some lunch with the parents. I tried the Caramel Apple Hotcakes Farmer’s Choice breakfast. Everything was as ordered and hot. The Hotcakes could use a little more liquid on them, they were a little dry. Tasted could, but didn’t want to mix syrup into it. Parents got the blueberry pancakes and a chicken breast meal.

The person that sat us tried to sit us in a small booth and we are not petite. So common sense should kick in to ask the customer if they prefer a table!!!
Now our order was taking and we felt well taking care of. Our drinks came out quickly!!
We enjoyed some banana bread while we waited for our food. Food came out pretty fast… My pancakes were not stacked up they were in three laying flat. My eggs were scorch and kind of brown. I told a bite of eggs and my second bite had a long black hair embedded in it. I told the server and it was resolved quickly and taking off of my bill. I didn’t want a remake. My service at this restaurant is usually pretty good but it seemed a bit rushed. And they were pack this morning…

Good was a bit off. But service was great except checkout. I had my 1 yr old grandson. Which for me is a struggle. The waitress was so helpful and patient. No paying my bill I had to wait more than 10 minutes. I went to register that wasn’t closed and I had everything out and mygrandson sat down because my shoulder hurt. She told me I had to move…the look on my face I think told the girl everything she needed to know.

I ordered fish and fries. The sandwich had cabbage on it no tater sauce. I never got it after asking. Fries were not freshly cooked.
Still ate meal, and let them know. The waitress took meal off of bill and they offered us free dessert. We appreciate them going above and beyond to make things right!

Bob Evans has been my favorite restaurant since I was a kid and ive been to easily over 50 Bob Evans around the east coast and even worked at one fron 16-18 years old. This Bob evans has to be the saddest. Food was a joke. Service was a joke. Management must be a joke. Do better. Go to Ashland if you want some Bob Evans. Ontario has no idea what theyre doing or how to entertain guests with hospitality the Bob Evans way.

Sadly this is the only breakfast oriented place as of now in Ontario. It’s always very busy and they do a decent job of serving you though it takes a bit to be seated. My burger was the Rise and Shine, but it lacked any sauce was pretty dry yet greasy on the bun lol. It’s a 5/10 experience thar didn’t break the bank.

This place just gets worse and worse. The waitress was descent and apologetic about the 20 minute wait just to take our order and then another half hour to get our order. When we finally got our meals, the food was cold, and the biscuits were hard as rocks. She went to get different biscuits, but said she forgot. She didn’t offer to adjust our bill for the inedible. It wouldn’t be so bad, but EVERY SINGLE time we come here, there is an issue. I told my husband if he ever brings me there again, we will divorce. Companies just have no sense of pride anymore.

My Whole Hog meal was room temperature. The sausage patties and links were black. Bacon was also burnt. Waitress rarely came around. It took a long time for my wife’s and my meal to come. About 10 or more minutes after the couple who ordered a minute before us. Not busy maybe 10 people counting us if not less.
