Stopped in at the Academy location on a mid Saturday morning. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many guests standing outside. SRO isn’t as common as it used to be. We were seated promptly after checking in. Apparently all of the guests outside were on their way out. With high ceilings the ambient noise was rather loud. However, I suspect that sounds is music to the restaurant staff.
My senior size omelet was a great size for me. It was seasoned well and full of spinach, ham, onions, and cheese. The pancakes were fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness.
All and all, this place was more budget friendly then most restaurants. I would eat here again.

Omelets Etc. has 4 locations in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which we visited the Academy Blvd location. This location is in a strip mall and the restaurant space in a space of concrete floors, with high ceilings and no decor. Expect quite a bit of noise if the tables are filled.
The front desk was quick to acknowledge our arrival and gave us a choice of tables. Overall, the service was good from beginning to end, and all the staff seemed very friendly to all the customers. We ordered both breakfast and lunch entrees, the outstanding plate was the breakfast burrito. The Senior breakfast was nice portion, but I found the two sandwich plates to be prepared nicely, but lacking in overall ingredients to make a fulfilling sandwich.
The one aspect of the restaurant environment that was very troublesome was the number of flies that were present around our corner booth, which could have been due to the hot Colorado weather at this time of the year.
Overall, the food was still good for breakfast or lunch, and I would try this restaurant again, but probably in another location.
Tips for your visit: Large menu, but breakfast entrees seem to be a better option for most of the tables on our visit.

Great little breakfast spot! It’s super busy but staff are friendly and wait times are pretty decent. We ate at the bar and loved the vibe. Food was great, our only complaint was that they went a bit too heavy on the hollandaise and the scrambled eggs were dry.

Perfect Road Trip Fuel!
We stopped at Omelet Etc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado and were so glad we did! The food came out fast and piping hot, exactly what we needed before hitting the road. The spinach omelet was fresh and flavorful, the chicken fried steak was hearty and satisfying, and the country potatoes were the perfect comfort food side. The huge glass of fresh orange juice was a perfect refreshment.
What stood out just as much as the food was the warm hospitality. The host greeted every guest with a smile and even opened the door for each person walking in, such a kind and welcoming touch. It made the whole experience feel personal and genuine. Highly recommend for a hearty, feel-good breakfast!

This place is very busy and that only means the place is amazing. Service was great we had to wait 30 minutes but we didn’t mind just because the friendliness that the staff has. My favorite is the breakfast burrito and green chilli is super good.

My wife and I have never been to this restaurant. We went in with a very large group of people and everything went smoothly as far as ordering, getting our food in a timely manner and everything coming out right and hot. Really enjoyed the place. We went in on a Sunday morning and it was busy as expected but everything went smoothly. We will definitely be going back for breakfast again. They food was good and not expensive.

We’ve been here a few times before and enjoyed the food and service. Maybe they were just super busy this morning. Today the servers ignored us for most of our visit. I never got a refill on my coffee. All of our food orders (tasted okay) came out cold and I suspect my crepe was reheated after they realized it was sitting out too long before serving. It took us over 20 minutes to finally get someone to bring us a couple extra napkins. I’ll try this place again at some point because I want to support local SE CS businesses.

I gave this restaurant 3 stars because of the taste. The pancakes and hash brown were bland. I was expecting more a unique taste to the restaurant. The pancakes looked better than they tasted. Hash brown had too much butter and oil in it for my liking. The syrup tasted “off”. It wasn’t sweet. I have no idea where they’re going with the syrup. Honestly, it’s got to be the most tasteless breakfast I’ve ever had. The restaurant is still worth a try but it didn’t do it for me. Staff was nice, helpful, and the restaurant was clean
