First time trying this pizza. Deep dish. We got the special “Lou” it has spinach mushrooms and onion and of course cheese with butter crust. It was tasty but not as much as we expected. Our server Rob was super nice and attentive. He explained everything about the Chicago style pizza. The location was close to our hotel so we came this location in Evanston. I don’t know how the other locations. If you in Chicago you can try and at least you have idea what it is like.

We got the Lou’s Salad and medium Lou’s pizza with sausage along with the Italian meatballs appetizer. Everything was delicious. While I still prefer the other big pizza chain that starts with a G, Lou’s is great, too. Service was good although they seemed a little short staffed.

Delicious deep dish, Chicago style pizza right in Evanston! This famous pizza spot did not disappoint on any ends. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, and we all thought the Mike’s Hot Honey pizza was delicious. The crust was crunchy, and the sauce and cheese paired perfectly along with the other toppings. I highly recommend checking this place out for a taste of deep dish if you’re in Evanston!

Had lunch on a friend’s recommendation for deep pan pizza. It was ok, I think it contained more water content that turned the crust’s surface tastes as uncooked. Ordered extra cheese topping the qty was good but the cheese became chewy and hard and felt like a separate layer instead of merged with the meat and base. It could be the worth trying if it offer more types of cheese. The garlic bread was good but tastes more basic that means less to no seasoning.
Salad was fresh and great.

The classic pizza was great. Tomatoes felt so fresh and loved the crust. I was just happy to enjoy this chicago pizza with a beer

During a quick Chicago trip to catch a game at Wrigley Field, one must-do item on our list was to try and slice of Chicago pizza. We quickly learned the most talked about spots for authentic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza are Lou Malnati’s, Giordano’s, and Pequod’s. The decision was made by the one closest to our hotel, Lou Malnati’s. We were greeted by smiling hosts and seated our party of 3 immediately. Our server was on her game – she quickly got our drink order and gave a couple suggestions. We went with a large Classic and following what I’m told is a normal wait, got to experience a pretty solid cheese pull as she served up slices. Taste was great, althoughal admittedly I expected the cheese to be a bit thicker, and the top of the crust was surprisingly chewy. Overall I’d revisit and give a couple of their other specialty pies a try

The pizza is always amazing—cheesy with a buttery crust and plenty of fillings. We love the deep dish but they’re all good. The atmosphere is great, especially outside on a warm evening. This time around we came to celebrate our 35th anniversary! Shout out to our server Brandon, who was fantastic—attentive, helpful, friendly and fun. His wonderful service made a special night even better! Thank you!

Best location and best pizza I’ve ever had. Every time I’ve been here, the experience has been great. The only time I ever had an issue was on an extremely busy Friday when the store was packed with orders. To my surprise, the manager personally reached out to us and not only apologized (even though she truly didn’t need to) but also offered us a credit for a pizza to make up for it. That level of care is rare. You can tell she takes pride in the business and genuinely values her customers. A manager like that sets the tone for the whole store.
Because of her leadership I can see that the employees are always welcoming, helpful, and professional. You can feel the positive environment from the moment you walk in. I honestly wish I could give this place 10 stars. Keep up the amazing work everyone, and thank you a million times!
