Very welcoming, food was so well seasoned and so well balanced. Everything was truly delicious. Highly highly recommend. Best Hispanic food I’ve had in my entire life.

Los Molcajetes has a unique Mexican menu and the food is very good. There were about 4 tables of people when the 5 of us arrived. We waited about 10 minutes before our drink order was taken, and another 10 minutes before our food order was taken. Then, we waited more than 30 minutes for our food. In will say that the server and kitchen did what they could to honor a special request from my wife for grilled onions. The server was very nice and the food very good, but the long wait times were not acceptable.

When I visit this place the food is usually good, however last Saturday we ate dinner there and the food was not the best. It smelled and tasted like old reheated oil. The prices are elevated so I would expect a good meal. The al pastor and birria meat tasted old. On top of that the main door was kept open and the mosquitos were coming in and inside the restaurant it was so hot because of the door being open. There was only 2 waiters and service was slow but I know they were trying their best.

Went in for dinner with some friends, had a less than stellar experience.
The service was sluggish at best, took a long time to get our food, and details of our order were missed.
I ordered the Fajitas Texanas, and was blown away at how little seasoning there was on the food. The portion was large, which might be the only positive of my whole experience.
The rice was terrible and the beans tasted PUTRID – literally the flavor of dirty water.
I will not be back, and do not recommend anyone to try this establishment.

Absolutely delicious food! Happy hour lasts from 5 pm-8 pm with decently priced margaritas. it was pretty packed getting there at 6 pm on a Friday evening, so I suggest going sooner rather than later. All the food was piping hot and extremely tasty – truly an authentic experience. If you want to splurge, I would highly suggest getting the Molcajete Supreme (I mean, come on, it’s literally in the restaurant’s name) and sharing it with someone. The tamales were also really good.

It was ok!
The carnitas and the tripa were delicious. The handmade tortillas were delicious. The salsa’s lacked heat and everything lacked salt. Very affordable and would go again to try other things than their tacos

Very poor service. Practically unable to talk on the phone as the communication on their end is beyond bad. They cater to the regulars, so expect a wait time of at minimum 45 minutes for your food to arrive. There were multiple regulars that came in, ordered just as much as me, and got their food a while before me. The servers do not come to the tables often and i had to go up to the bar to ask for my first beer, again, because 20 minutes after I ordered my first beer it was not brought to the table. Food is decent, but nothing special. Overall would not recommend anyone to go unless you have a few hours to kill.

The oil used for frying made the food feel very heavy. The ground beef in the tacos seemed to be cooked in too much oil, and there were some burnt pieces. Overall, the food was quite greasy. The server was also a bit impatient. Rice tasted ok. I experienced stomach issues after eating there.
