We live in Austin, so let’s just say we’ve had our fair share of exceptional barbecue. This place is absolutely delicious. PLEASE get the pork belly dunkers, they’re some of the best pork belly we’ve ever had. Delicious sauces.

We also got the Tony Porker, Brisket Smoke Show and Thai Salad. Delicious curry, rice had a wonderful texture. All the meat was of great quality. Very reasonable prices. We love d it!

I’ve had Curry Boys on my list of restaurants to try for a while, and since I was in the area, I finally gave it a shot. We ordered a curry bowl and a sandwich, which came out to about $37.

Compared to other Thai restaurants in San Antonio, you can definitely find better traditional Thai food elsewhere. That said, what sets Curry Boys apart is the BBQ + Thai fusion concept, which I genuinely appreciate. The creativity is there, and I respect what they’re trying to do—it’s different and ambitious. Unfortunately, for me, the flavors just didn’t quite hit the way I was hoping they would.

I’m glad I tried it, but would I personally go back? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Yes—because everyone’s palate is different, and this is one of those places you really need to try for yourself to see if it clicks for you.

Interesting idea, good execution, just not my personal favorite.

Absolutely incredible food! The brisket was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The curry had amazing flavor — rich and perfectly balanced. Every side dish was spot-on: the corn, coleslaw, noodles, and rice were all delicious and cooked just right. The pork belly dunkers were out of this world! You can really taste the love and care they put into everything here.
Not very much parking on property, but had sufficient street parking.
Definitely one of my favorite spots in San Antonio — can’t wait to come back!

Everyone should go. Incredible food. Great service. All curries are excellent. The salad is crispy and refreshing. Pork belly melts in your mouth. Lots of good TX beer on tap. There is something for everyone here.

Very unique concept of curry + BBQ. You order first and then can sit down or takeout. The lady at the check out was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the brisket curry bowl and mushroom curry bowl with chili crisp. The brisket was cooked to perfection, and the curry had great flavor. My main complaint was the mushrooms tasted sour, almost like they were marinated in vinegar? I am not sure if that’s how they’re supposed to taste or if that’s how they’re prepped. I love mushrooms because of the smoky flavor you typically taste. This was the first time I’ve had sour tasting mushrooms. Again, I’m not sure if it was the seasoning but it just tasted confusing. The chili crisp was a great addition if you like the heat! I would get just the brisket curry bowl next time. The inside of the restaurant is really clean, cozy and homey!

When I was in Nashville last I walked by a by a pink building thinking to myself oh that reminds me of Curry Boys BBQ in San Antonio. Then did a double take because it actually was. Sadly it was early in the morning and I had to get to the next city. . . now I’m back at the technically 2nd location because the 1st spot is the pink shed across the street but what is now the original(?). When you are barbecued out but still want barbecue, Curry Boys is the spot! It’s super interesting and fun mixing the Smokey elements of Texas bbq with the flavorful spices and flavors of Thai curries. Plus it’s a nice place for a lunch that is filling and warms you up from the inside. The brisket smoke show bowl that I got is some brisket paired with green curry. Honestly it’s already a good green curry. But the fatty meat mixed herbs spices chilies and coconut just works. The heat level is killer spicy that will blow out your palate but a nice level where a sip of water or whatever you are drinking with calm your tongue down. With the choice to add chili oil lol. With that I shared with my coworkers a pork belly and jam sandwich. Smoked pork belly between toast with peanut sauce, jam and basil. Such a nice bite. Balancing the sweet and fatty and salty. Honestly (again) I’ve seen/eaten the combo of Thai with bbq and between you and me. . . I like Curry Boys the best.

We ordered the red curry with BBQ brisket and the yellow curry with chicken. My husband really liked the chicken—it was soft and juicy. The dishes were easy to eat and not too heavy, though the curry flavor was a bit bland for my taste. Overall, it was good and worth trying

What a fantastic spot! I did not know this place existed but I was told about it by a patron at another restaurant and I am so glad they did!

We stopped in to the super cute Pink house and were warmly greeted. The menu is great with lots of appealing options to choose from. We went with the Beef Brisket Smoke Show Bowl and the Tom Kha Soup as well as the pork belly PBJ.

The Pork Belly and Brisket were excellent and I would put them in the same league as some of the best BBQ offerings in the state. Great smoke flavor, well seasoned, and quite tender. The curry just puts it over the top, tell them you want extra curry! It sets off the flavors of the meat and cuts through the richness.

If you are in a mood to see how great BBQ can marry to other cuisines you need to get in here. Highly recommended.

This place was delish! If I could have drank the nacho cheese sauce… I would have. We got a mix of items and they were all amazing. We had the pulled pork nachos, two rice bowls and a soup. There was something for everyone! Something meaty- something vegetarian, – something savory and we ended with a scoop of ice cream. I would totally return and also tell them to bottle that cheese sauce!
