This is a regular breakfast place for us. We always get plenty of food. I always get something from their “mess” menu, and bring home enough for another meal. Their pancakes are phenomenal. Basically, it’s a cozy, delicious spot.

I stopped in for the Country Fried Steak breakfast. First time there. The Steak was EXTREMELY tough. It’s a favorite of mine and I’m always willing to try them anywhere we go. But, I’d definitely avoid the this dish there. Even the Steak knife wasn’t enough. I eventually got tired of chewing so much that I abandoned the meal. And the hash browns were mushy and lacked the the nice crispy brown outsides. I’ll try a dinner there sometime. But I’d skip the breakfast.

Convenient cafe on the highway. Huge portions, definitely shareable. Food was delicious. $80 for 4 of us. The fried chicken with biscuit & gravy + bacon we split between 2 of us and added French toast. Their French toast has a cornflake crust which was unique. Everyone said their food was delicious.

This food is really good and very filling. I had a hamburger patty melt and I added mushrooms to it which made it perfect. I enjoyed the tater tots as well. The Strawberry milkshake my daughter ordered was fantastic as well. My boys were a little disappointed with their hot chocolate they said it was a little watery and little tasteless. My oldest son loved his macaroni and cheese he said it was right on the mark. My youngest son says his panty was magnificent. My daughter said her chicken patty melt was okay. My husband loved his chicken patty melt. Priscilla was our server today and she did a great job. Priscilla check in on us regularly to make sure that we had everything we needed. She was even kind enough to give me a to-go cup full of Pepsi. Thank you Priscilla we’re giving us a great dining experience.

I think I was too excited this place was going to be better than it was because the parking lot was full and there was a little wait for a table. My expectations were clearly too high! The staff was pleasant, but most not smiling and didn’t engage much at all. We only ordered a few things and it took almost an hour after ordering to get the food you see. Yikes. The food wasn’t even great for it taking that long. It was actually just OK. The Mexican mess dish was weird. A pile of mush or leftovers with very little taste. At least the avocado was fresh and good. They certainly got the same right for that dish – a mess! The burrito was slightly better than the mess. I ate it because I was hungry and their food for what you get isn’t cheap. The cinnamon roll French toast was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. My son didn’t even eat it. To top it off…. a simple, it’ll do black coffee was $4.75 YIKES!
My son used the men’s restroom to wash his hands and noticed the toilet clogged while when I used the women’s restroom it looked like pee was on the floor and instead of cleaning it up, they put up a wet floor sign. Either that or their toilet is leaking.
I really don’t like giving poor reviews, but when they’re in order, I do. They got 3 stars instead of 2 because my dad was happy enough with the meal and I didn’t want to be more harsh. They all were working hard. My guess as to why it is so busy is because people don’t want to drive far or want to just pop on and off from the freeway or go grab something before shopping at Costco just over the overpass.

Great little dinner. Very much what you expect for an old school Cafe. The food was excellent, the waitress was very attentive. Over all it was a great experience.

Quaint little cafe off the freeway. We had the French toast and corn beef hash with eggs and hashbrowns. Service was fast and food was good. Not too sure about the French toast. It was different. Price was 60 dollars for the two of us.

I got the “Weekender Omelette” which has potatoes O’Brien. However there was no peppers or onions in it. -So I was served “chunks of potatoes” Not O’Brien. There where a few shreds of cheese on the outside, and none on the inside at all. The flavor I wanted was not what I got. I payed for veggies I didn’t get.
They charge a $4.99 fee for refillable soft drink.
You can talk easily. There is just a little background noise,- nice music. TV’s so you can watch it or ignore it at your discretion.

Stopped by today for a small breakfast while I was waiting for a ride as my semi truck broke down. I ordered a simple three egg scramble with peppers onions cheese and mushrooms. It came with ham after I specifically asked for no ham only veggies. I was charged 19.00 dollars for this. Same price as a Denver omelet but I didn’t get hash-browns or toast, nor did they offer me them for the same price and take them to go which I would have. Complete rip-off, and the coffee tasted burnt, not dark roast, but burnt. I drive by here daily, and will never stop again. This place sucks. Super expensive and not worth it.
