I’ve have been in the hospitality industry for over 7 years and never experienced service this terrible ever. We sat at the bar and the bartender at the time, Teresa was our bartender. She was talking with other employees that I had gathered from conversations I overheard. She talked about how she didn’t care about giving her best to serve everyone that she treats everyone the same. All this while we were still waiting to place our food order. She still was going to continue talking to employees not any care my husband and I had been waiting already for 10 mins to order. My husband had to ask her to come take our order and she did after asked. The food came out great timing and the runners were pleasant and no problems. When we got our appetizer we had almost ate all the app before our, bartender/server, offered us appetizer plates. When our burgers came we again had to ask our bartender to give us ketchup. All while it is a Sunday night and not anyone in the place, slow night. Teresa the bartender seems to rather spend her time being social then actually putting effort into doing her job. I feel either better management is needed at night to be aware of what is happening or this server/bartender needs to go back to training on how to give quality customer service no matter who you are serving not just friends and colleagues. Not only has this happened before on several occasions to my husband, I only found out after the fact, but we still stayed and tried to give her a chance. Just shows that terrible service from Teresa is all she is capable of and as a hospitality manager for 7 years i can’t stand by and watch someone not care in the hospitality industry if you dont like your job change carrers because quality service should be given to everyone not just friends and coworkers you like.

Chili’s is probably the only major chain restaurant in town that’s still worth visiting, but it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the food is spot-on, other times it’s lacking, but it’s still miles better than Glory Days or Ruby Tuesday these days. We come here every couple of months with the kids and usually enjoy a decent meal. I really like the Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl with Street Corn, and of course the Molten Chocolate Cake. My wife prefers the ribs or wings, though the wings can definitely be hit or miss.
This location looks much nicer after its renovation some years back, which is a plus. Service is also inconsistent. We’ve had servers who were slow or inattentive, but the bar staff is almost always great, kind, attentive, and quick. So while service isn’t perfect, it’s not universally bad either.
Dinner rush can be rough here, so we try to go right before or after peak hours. Otherwise, wait times can hit 45 minutes or more.
Overall, it’s the better option among the three big chains in town (not counting Buffalo Wild Wings). Is it great? No. But for a chain restaurant in 2025, it’s about what you’d realistically expect.

We used to love coming here. The food used to be great but it has gone down hill. We decided we would give it one more try just to see if things had changed. The answer was nope, same old crap. The only good thing was the chips and salsa. The triple Dipper was horrible. The food was luke warm at best and the marina was water. The boneless wings my husband got were hard and chewy and luke warm. The Southwest Rolls were not fully cooked and we’re still cold inside, the sliders were undercooked and had no taste, the mozzarella sticks were not cooked inside all the way and the outside was burnt. Only 5 folks in the restaurant but couldn’t get salt brought to the table or a refill on our drinks. For $70 of food I would expect better and have had better. Definitely will not be back.

Teresa is a fantastic bartender! But honestly, Allie, Brandie, and Eric are also phenomenal. The manager John actually cares about you and your experience so I definitely recommend Culpeper Chili’s over other places in town.

We had an awesome experience today! Food was cooked to perfection and out in a timely manner. Our server Charlotte was so wonderful, such a sweet kind soul. Not one time did we ever see her without a smile on her face even when dealing with others in the restaurant. I happened to overhear a conversation with her and a young child at another table and my heart was warmed by the interactions between them two. Big thank you and shout out to Charlotte! You can absolutely tell she has a huge heart for people and does not mind serving our community ❤️ I hope you all have an experience such as ours! To ensure you do, ask for this kind lady !!!

Had lunch on our way through. This is think our 4th or 5th time. Its our go to when on the road. We had 4 adults and a toddler. Leona was on point! Very attentive, friendly and down to earth. Service was impeccable. Food was absolutely delicious. 1st time our son in law ever ate at a chili’s and he loved his burger. Food was cooked to perfection and perfect temperature. Can’t wait to have Leona serve us on our way back through! Sorry, no photos. Was too hungry lol

Just left there to be extremely thirsty and still hungry. Got sat and ordered kids food first, came around and asked if we needed more time and I said yes. Waited another 20 minutes for her to come back around and ask if we needed more time, ordered our food and appetizers. Asked for a new drink because my cup was filthy. Told us the kids food were going to take a bit longer because they burnt the pizza. Cool. Okay. We all know kraft Mac & cheese in a bag that gets microwaved doesn’t take that long either but sure. 30 minutes go by with no new drink and no appetizers. Chip trio and a bowl of soup. Although we watched multiple families get sat, get their drinks, ordered and received their appetizers within those 30 minutes. At this point, we were there for an hour. No drink and not a single chip in an hour. We did not get any attention or checked in by anyone, not even the manager that was walking around and checking every other table. Absolutely furious for how we were treated. After packing up my 3 month old, and two kids, the waitress chase us down at the door asking if we wanted to cancel our order. Obviously right? After 30 minutes and our food hasn’t been started or even got premade appetizers, or how about a CLEAN CUP for my drink, and then apologizes afterwards. I’ve spent 8 years in food and restaurant industry and the disregard for my husband and I was absolutely unacceptable.

I’ve been coming to this Chili’s for years, and they never disappoint. The food is always great, the service is quick, and the beer’s ice cold—you really can’t go wrong. John’s an awesome manager who genuinely cares about making sure people leave happy. And it says a lot about a place—especially a chain—when you see the same staff year after year. The bartenders are always super friendly and make some mean margaritas.

Great experience at Chili’s!
The staff was very polite and welcoming, and the atmosphere was really nice — perfect for family get-togethers and meals with friends. Our food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. It is a little bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it for the quality and service. Highly recommend!
