A quick indian fast food joint serving both chat and dosa.
Try the idli sambar but ask for idli to be dipped into it.
Both the red and white coconut chutney are well done and reflect real taste of India. Additionally try the upma made with ghee, excellent taste.
The prices are reasonable too. I highly recommend this place for a quick meal. The only issue is to find street parking. The staff is polite and friendly. Pls tip those kids well.

Madras Dosa Company is my new go-to for quick South Indian-in Boston. I tried the dosa, samosa chaat, and podi idli—crispy dosa, soft idlis, and a bright, tangy chaat that actually stays crunchy. It’s a small outlet but the flavors hit, and the to-go packaging is on point—leak-proof with separate chutneys/sambar, perfect for the car. These three are the winners.
They’ve done a great job for to go

Got the potato “samosa” filling in my dosa, and added their plant-based meat option. My dosa was filling, tasty, and warm. A good meal on a cold winter day. The chutneys that came with it were also great. Vegan options on their menu were much appreciated, especially proteins, since food in the Seaport area can be somewhat lacking. At time of my visit their was no restroom so deducting points for that but adding points for the Hindi pop music which added fun ambience 🙂

Madras Dosa has the best food & good vibes in the area. I went with my friends today & they have so many options of flavourful chaats, I had samosa chaat and pav bhaji and they tasted heavenly, along with their famous mango lassi. We all want to give a huge thanks to Chef Sai, he recommended Karampodi Dosa with sambhar and I have never tasted so good and authentic south Indian cuisine. Thank you so much and I’ll be coming soon to try out other dishes!!!.

A very last minute find turned out to be a blessing!
Got out of The Grand and was craving some good food and turns out Madras was just around the corner. A late night place serving Indian food – I certainly had less expectations but I was totally proved wrong by their quality, portion and price. Ordered the Meat dosa and pav bhaji and both were really good! Definitely a place to consider for a casual snack.

Unfortunately, most Indian restaurants in Boston fall short when it comes to authentic flavors. After trying seven different places, I finally ordered from Madras Dosa Company—and was genuinely impressed. The food was not only delicious and authentic but also prepared with excellent hygiene. I loved their smart packaging as well ! Full marks for quality! I ended up ordering several more times during my stay. My colleagues from different countries too ordered it on my recommendation and were super impressed. Well done, team. Proud of you. Keep it up!

Excellent food with lots of innovative combos (for example, pav bhaji in dosa). They make the dosa right in front of you and the flavors are absolutely on point. The prices were reasonable, especially for the area!

Food was delicious! The whole place smelled amazing! My only complaint is that it would have been useful to have English descriptions of what some of the good choices were. But everything we ordered tasted great! And they were open late!

Great taste. Would highly recommend if you like Indian food. Quite authentic. Canteen sandwiches are the best.

Madras Dosa Company offers good, authentic South Indian food with a solid variety of options. The dosas and flavors hit the spot if you’re craving proper South Indian taste.
However, the place is very small—hardly about 4 tables and roughly 12 chairs—so don’t expect any ambience or comfort seating.
If ambience matters to you, this may not be the right place. But if your priority is good food over décor, this place is definitely worth a visit.
