Wow! My buddy recommended this place. Took my wife her for it anniversary. Pierce our waiter was great. We had mussels, Crab stuffed mushrooms, lump crab soup, oyster rockfella . Everything was delicious and very tasty. We had such a great time drinking smoked old fashioned. Sharing another memory of a nice time here thanks once again why back for Valentine’s day and we requested Pierce as our waiter. Let me tell you he did such a good job in keeping our food fresh and Hot from the kitchen.

First off our server was not very knowledgeable. I asked her per the drink menu what was the feature red wine of the month. Her response was they didn’t tell us. We’re halfway through the month?? At the end of dinner she asked of we wanted dessert, we told her we wanted the strawberry shortcake ganache. Her response was that they were out of it. Not after checking and coming back, she already knew. I have not had service before where the person did not know the features/specials and also did not notify me that there were things not available before asking or having to check. This visit made my experience less than pleasant and more so because it was Valentine’s Day. I don’t live in the area and felt like I had wasted my time. I’ll be back but it will no longer be my first choice.

A few things of note:
1. The food was fresh and delicious. I sampled just about everyone’s dish in our party of 7, and I was impressed.
2. Our server was attentive, engaging, and very pleasant (even with us having two young boys)during our entire time. The other staff were also attentive and supportive.
3. The atmosphere was modern and pleasant. Being there on Christmas Eve, it was a full house and yet we didn’t feel crammed in there.
It was a very positive experience overall and we will go back.

Had an absolutely amazing time here, the atmosphere is both approachable and formal for most types of attire, and the food is simply phenomenal. Victoria was both friendly and attentive, helping us with wine pairings, meal choices, and ensuring my partner and I had a truly stellar experience! I made this reservation to experience a new, highly rated restaurant for my birthday celebration through OpenTable, clearly noting it was a birthday celebration. We were running early, and the restaurant easily accommodated us at 2:30pm (instead of 3:30pm). The host was pleasant, greeting us immediately and seating us in a window booth.
Our server was Keyawna and she was friendly, relaxed, and professional. Our appetizer, Ceviche (appetizer) along with the sourdough bread and butter was reasonably priced on the lunch menu (Ceviche is always expensive). It was fresh, tangy, and delicious!
Our lunch order of Shrimp and Lobster Roll with fries and Shrimp Diavlo were perfectly portioned, reasonably priced and arrived with good timing after the appetizer. The S&L roll was wonderful! Creamy, a slight bit sweet and the roll was crazy good. Did I mention the beer-battered fries? Ridiculously good. The Shrimp Diavlo was perfectly seasoned, in a slightly spicy cream sauce. I had an unsweet tea, and it was fresh and tasted brewed in house. Our bill for lunch totaled $58.71 before tip.
Overall, it was a great first-time dining experience. However, I was disappointed that no mention was made of the birthday celebration. The food and service experience was top-notch, and I highly recommend Club Oceano for a more enhanced and upscale dining option.

We had reservations tonight for a birthday. We arrived at 6. At 7:30 we were still on soup and salad. At 8 we exploded on the manager and left. This was after asking the server at 7:45 nicely to check on our order. Around 7:55 we just said we are over this just give us our check. We asked for the manager to deliver it. The service was horrible. We had to ask for refills, we had to ask for other stuff, she lied and said a party was the reason for a 2 hour dinner delay (which we never even received dinner) she had a smug attitude. the party arrived way after we came in. She couldn’t even get the manager. I had to go to the host station and ask 4-5 people there to get the manager. The manager just acted clueless. She did say she would take care of the bill for our appetizers, sodas, soups and salads. She remembered us coming in. I don’t know if I believe she didn’t know we didn’t have our food or not. Do not go here for a special occasion. The place is not being run correctly. 2 hours wasted, birthday celebration ruined and we drove 45 minutes for nothing. It was horrible please go somewhere else. We are in our 40’s and this is the worse birthday dinner ever.

This has quickly become my new favorite restaurant. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes with generous portions. I’m particularly impressed by the incredibly fresh ingredients, a rare find in the Dayton area. It’s great to have such a wide selection of both seafood and meat options. I’ve been back several times in the past few months and have never been disappointed. Yesterday evening, Our server, Haven, was exceptional, providing attentive service and making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The meals are also reasonably priced.
If you’re hesitant about trying this restaurant, don’t be! They’ll exceed your expectations.

Took my wife here recently for her birthday it was kid of a last minute thing.
Initially I wasn’t impressed, the hostess seemed snobby and reluctant to greet us…
Once we were seated everything turned around. Our server Macy was AWESOME! super patient, gave us great recommendations and most importantly great service.
We had the ouster Rockefeller, very tasty, good portion size. For our meals we both had the surf and turf. Our steaks were cooked perfectly! We both also liked that the meal came with a soup or salad. I really enjoyed the lemon vinaigrette! My wife really liked her lobster bisque as well. The cherry on top was they brought us a little free desert as well.
