My first time to visit. We picked this for its reviews and close to the theatre. The food was outstanding! Our server was fantastic and even showed us how to get to the theatre. The restaurant is gorgeous!! I can’t wait to go back. Keep up the wonderful cooking! We had the bread, beet burrata salad, mushroom ravioli and northern carbonara. Some of the best cuisine I have had in Charlotte.

We ordered the truffle bread, caramalized gnocci, Parmesan chicken and bolognese pasta and a bottle of wine. The gnocci was good. The truffle bread was average. The Parmesan chicken was bone in, over cooked, served with cold pasta. We told our waiter that the pasta was cold. She took it in, microwaved the plate, which meant the chicken was even more over cooked, pasta had hot spots. Very very disappointing for a 30$ dish. The bolognese pasta was also a very very small serving, definitely not enough for an adult. Overall for a 200$ bill, it wasn’t worth it. There are plenty other better restaurants in charlotte uptown with better food and service.

Tim, bartender and waiter, was an absolute delight. The food was phenomenal. Succulent and tender octopus, beautiful fresh bread, you can taste the sunshine in the tomato sauce. An immediate hit.

Was here for a work event but the service and food were incredible! Our server recommended a fancy bottle of Italian wine that was absolutely delicious and everyone loved. The menu offered was so delicious. I got the Gnocchi and it was outstanding. The servers were all super attentive and always answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

We love Aria, we found this place because it was across the street from our hotel while we were in town for a medical surgery. We have to come back here several times a year to see that specialist we ALWAYS go eat here. The last 3 times Kyle has been our waiter and he is beyond amazing. You really can’t go wrong with any choice but if you can’t decide Kyle always makes excellent suggestions. We went there this evening for Valentines Day and had an excellent fish and sun choke dish, we always get Ceasar salad and the bread service. The mussels appetizer is also extremely good. We brought dessert to the hotel for later. Kyle had several tables tonight but he is a master at making sure everyone is tended to with care. He is from the city and state we are from so we always considerate about how we got away from the horrible winters. We have truly never had a bad experience with any waiters we have had through the last few years. Also we had a corner table for 2 where both people sit on the couch and it is a very romantic table We often eat early on weekdays at 4:30 and usually you could probably get a table then but as soon as 5pm happens it is very busy. Today on Valentines Day you of course wouldn’t have gotten a table without a reservation. We will be back again soon.

Stopped in on a Friday at 7pm, was surprised to get a table. Sue, the hostess was very sweet to accommodate us at a requested table in the corner with a full view of the restaurant. Then, Max topped of our glasses with some refreshing water. Aaron guides us with some recommendations which we ordered. The Moscow mule and Cosmo was perfect for a warm summer evening. Generous portions of the Caesar salad, rice balls & house made focaccia completed our meal with no room for dessert. Definitely will return to try their desserts. From Sue, Max, Aaron and other staff we interacted with, everyone was genuinely warm and welcoming. What a treat to stop in my chance and have a wonderful 5/5 experience.

Authentic food, homemade pasta, super service, deep menu. Wine list is impressive, wish the by the glass menu was more exciting. Lots of choices but only a few good Italian choices. Probably our 4th visit, always happy with our experience.

We went early without a reservation. When we chose to sit at the bar, the bar tender Olivia pumped her fists in the air in appreciation of having some company at the bar.. Really made us feel welcome. The standard ciabatta bread with white beans and Evoo was wonderful. It happened to be Queens Feast week in Charlotte, and the $35 prix fix meal included an appetizer, primi or secondo, and Dolce. The Caramelized Gnocchi with Prosciutto di Parma, Shaved Pear, Gorgonzola Crema, and Truffle Oil appetizer was excellent. I chose the Pork Loin with beet greens as Secondo. My wife, who didn’t want the three courses, had the Preserved Lemon + Ricotta Ravioli, which was great. Finished the meal with the best Tiramisu we’ve ever had (and we’ve made three trips to Italy). Olivia was very vivacious and personable throughout. What a great meal and experience.

First time eating here. Our waiter was very informed as he has worked therefor 16 year. Everything is made there at the restaurant.tiramisu was excellent ! I really enjoyed the 6 meatballs and homemade pasta. The night we were there a table behind us was so very loud it made it hard to hear. One nice thing to know is if you park at the ritz Carleton parking lot, Aria will stamp your parking ticket free.

Aria is, by far, one of my TOP Italian restaurants, ever! We accidentally ran into it while walking around the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. THE FOOD, THE SERVICE, THE DRINKS!
FOOD: I ordered lamb and risotto, my husband ordered chicken Parmigiano and gnocchi with pears.
The food is fresh! They hand make all the pasta and everything taste so so fresh! The bartender, Timothy, was more welcoming than any other bartender we’ve ever encountered.

We sat at the bar because we didn’t make reservations but honestly, that didn’t matter. Everything was perfect!
