The sushi was great. All our rolls where high quality. Service was ok. Waitress was a little off her game her section was quite full so I can forgive an empty glass or too. The atmosphere was good. Some rowdy patrons but no more than you would expect from a college town. Definetly a go again anytime.

Music and food was awesome our service could have been better. Breanna our server was to worried about being on her phone. Had to get up tell her that we wanted some egg drop soup we waited for a good 10 minutes just to get Togo boxes and we had to ask someone else to get our servers attention

Very good option for sushi in Nacogdoches Texas. Wonderful little “hole in the wall” that as usual…does NOT disappoint. Everyone went home with leftovers and they even accomodated us when we mentioned it was my sister in laws birthday. The waitress went above and beyond and I don’t recall her name but she deserves a very big raise.

The quality of the food was not bad. You just need to know how to properly season your own food. My bowl ended up being very salty because I used too much garlic salt. The beef I selected was very tender, so I was happy with that. The waitress was a bit annoying. We had not even sat down yet, and she was asking what we wanted to drink and what appetizers we wanted. I had to let her know it was my first time, and she hadn’t even handed me the menu yet, so I didn’t know what appetizers they had. After living in Japan for 7 years, my standards for sushi are a bit high, so I didn’t even bother taking a photo. I’m convinced most people don’t even know what real sushi is, so why bother. I guess the place is not bad if you keep it simple and don’t over season the food and stay away from what they call sushi.

I ordered a generic shumai that’s pretty much the same across all asian restaurants.

Next I had a sushi roll with the word butterfly in the name. It was pretty darn good. I believe it had spicy salmon and smoked salmon layered on top with some tiny red eggs that added a little saltiness and it had some eel sauce which tied all the flavors in.

Lastly, I have the teriyaki chicken bowl. I was honestly disappointed. The chicken was bland. The bowl itself had chicken, rice, onions, green bell peppers, and pineapples. There was no sweetness left in the pineapple so it just tasted bland. Eveylrything else in the bowl just had no flavor and it felt like I was suppose to taste the natural flavors of the ingredients. Which I don’t think is the case. Not sure if it’s the same with other items, but dissatisfied especially since this is a stir fry restaurant.

The food was good, but I felt it was over priced for the quantity. I like picking out my own ingredients but the bowl provided is very small if you want broccoli, mushrooms, and noodles. The sauce selection was great! Our waitress that night was distracted, and with 10 of us, we needed drink refills often.

my friend recommended this place for dinner and I was definitely impressed. I really like the style of building your own bowl of ingredients. you get to select as much meat, veggies, seasoning and sauces as you want and they throw it all together with the noodles you pick. you can even get double the regular amount of noodles for no extra cost!

the server was very friendly and always stopped by to make sure we were doing good or needed anything. the food itself tasted super good, nice and hot and very fresh. we tried some California rolls too and those were very fresh as well.

everything was all so good, will definitely be coming back!

Super Yummy lives up to its name, it’s super yummy! The owner was very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our food, although it took a while to come out. The portions sizes are very generous. I will definitely come again.

Great sushi, build-your-own stir fry!

I’d been hearing tons of good things about Super Yummy, and it mostly lived up to the hype. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. The real highlight is the stir fry – I loved choosing my own ingredients, Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to.
