0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! My favorite place to eat is cook out and this made me not want to go back for a while. Not only did I find a dead fly in one of my burgers, I took all 3 trays back untouched, showed them the picture and all. They took the trays back and the manager took one tray out and tried to cheat me out my money saying I had the other one just to give me less then what I paid (right plan WRONG PERSON, WAS NOT GOING FOR IT). The manager (some young guy) also came and said he didn’t see a fly after other employees witnessed the fly on the picture I showed and opened the burger and saw it. This place is DISGUSTINGLY DISGUSTING!!!

Please make sure to request they put something between your overly fried hushpuppies and the styrofiam container! They didnt for mine and it was pretty baddly melted….not safe by any means! Now I know better than to blindly trust they will be considerate to people’s health!

This Cookout was terrible. Don’t waste your money here. They overcooked my food and tried to scam me out of my money when I asked for a refund. I’ll never be back to this location.

Bought three burgers and three large fries. The burgers were a sloppy mess with no substance. Small enough to be on a McDonald’s dollar menu. Each and every topping costs extra. My burgers with cheese and bacon? That was it. No mustard. No ketchup. Just a dry burger with cheese and half cooked bacon.
The “large” fries? A McDonald’s small is bigger… Cost? $27
Thankfully it tasted okay.
No idea why people were raving about this place. Won’t be back.

This cookout has me waiting at least 20 min. Eveytime.
Tonight we ordered and line on left moved 8 cars in 10 min. My line moved only 1. We just left because the second line never moved.

You can be the nicest person and still get a nasty attitude from the employees here. Especially the people at window. Do yourself a favor and go to a different one if you don’t wanna deal with people who aren’t rude because they hate their job.

Today ( Jan 5 @12:40pm) for my 30 minute lunch break I went to The Cookout in Spring Lake and ordered the 1/4 Burger tray with a chicken wrap. It was not busy and there was only 1 other car there so there was no rush going on. When I got back on base to my office and opened my tray I was not pleased at all. My chicken wrap looked like 1/2 of a chicken tender with a sliver of lettuce. My 1/4 burger was even worse. My burger bun was soggy, the almost half piece of tomato was old and mushy, and there was hardly any burger on it at all. The half of tomato was bigger than the burger. I had to flip the sandwich over and open the bottom bun to see if there was any meat on it at all. Needless to say I’m thoroughly disgusted and will not be visiting there again!

Their shakes are really inconsistent. Tried their watermelon shake for the first time a week ago, it was amazing, smooth, had a white and pinkish swirl and blended well. I go tonight and said “Hmm let me get that again but add cheesecake since they do that. Not only did they not add the cheesecake, they barely blended the shake. It had huge watermelon chunks in it. Is there anything I can say when ordering a shake again? How to I ask them to blend it well? Will they even do what I requested? They often dont!
