They always have quality south Indian dishes that arent found at every Indian restaurant such as Idly.
Another great thing about Dosa South Indian Grill is that they are Open Late! Take out is just as good as dine in too.
Personal favorites: Papadum, Chicken 65, Baingan Aloo, and the Special Paneer Biryani (pictured)
What really made our visit special was the excellent service. The staff was polite, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and happy with our food. Everything came out on time and with a smile, which always makes a big difference.
Overall, amazing food and genuinely good service. This place truly deserves a visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
An absolute must go as it’s one of my favorite Indian spots in the metro area. And open late! The best!
The ghee idly was cold and bland, felt it was frozen and they simply microwaved it, same with chutneys. horrible taste. the chicken momos are also the same, heated up frozen momos. except for biryani, the other items arrived in 5 mins of ordering, obviously it was all heated up and food did not taste good at all.
Cannot believe this place is rated a 4.5++….The gobi Manchurian was meh, the mix vegetable curry full of heat from all the chilies (we specifically ordered mild) and the paneer butter masala looked like paneer Tikka masala and oh was it sweet !! (felt like we ordered a dessert instead of an entree)… We aren’t locals and understand we placed a late night order but the food should be of a certain standard if the restaurant is rated so high. I have never left scathing reviews before, but I couldn’t help it tonight…
Food is excellent. Goat thali is available on Mondays at least. There is an option for chicken or vegetarian as well. This time we got Goat thali, Vijiwada chicken biryani, and a batura. We’ve also had a variety of dosa and other staples like butter chicken and tandoori chicken and despite being more mainstream dishes they were done with their own special flair. This is easily one of the top Indian restaurants in the Twin Cities.
