Wonderful Indian food that is super rich in flavor.

– Buffet – $18.01 (after taxes): I had the buffet. I am not going to pretend to know the names of everything I had, but I will say the curry dishes were marvelous, the soup was amazing, I didn’t know I liked cauliflower so much (fried), and the naan bread was great (if it was fresh). The dessert roll was super sweet and drenched in a sugar water. It is all you can eat.

– Service: Water was served by a waiter, but we had to ask every time. It did take a bit to get it refilled and took a little while, but it was done. It becomes slightly concerning with spicy food, so keep on top of that. Other than that, they were otherwise positive and engaging.

– Atmosphere: Simple American diner converted into an Indian restaurant. It is fairly basic, but with a lot of Indian flare. Tables with chairs as well as booths.

– Conclusion: I liked it all and I usually eat American food. For the quality of food they serve, the price is great. I’d highly recommend it!

Visited on a Saturday at 12pm.

Please read this review before ordering— it could protect your health.

I used to be a regular customer, but I’m done. This place has a serious consistency and food-safety problem.

On Dec 31, I ordered biryani through DoorDash, and it arrived spoiled. The rotten odor hit immediately when I opened the container. I did not eat it because it was clearly unsafe. When I called the restaurant to report it, instead of apologizing or taking it seriously, they reverse-blamed me, saying I must have “touched it with water.” That excuse makes no sense—the food was bad the moment the lid opened.

Today I ordered dosa through DoorDash again, and the chutney was spoiled with bubbles coming out, like it was fermenting.

Ordering here feels like you’re gambling with food poisoning. This has been happening to me regularly lately, and I can’t trust this restaurant anymore.

We had high hopes for this restaurant since the buffet menu looked really good, so we decided to give it a try. While the variety of food was impressive, the taste still needs some improvement. The ambience could also be better, but overall it has potential with a few upgrades.

This place is a hidden gem. I chose the samber and rice. it was delicious (I had already eaten dinner beforehand!). My spouse, who is Indian, loved the aloo mutter (potatoes and peas in curry sauce). I plan to return on my next trip to Grand Rapids for the dosa! I understand there is a buffet Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

I loved the food here. Supriya did an awesome job. She helped me choose the right food for me as I don’t eat Indian food often. She guided me perfectly to an outstanding meal.

More Updates – April 2025

OMG— the more dishes I try here, the more I fall in love with this place!

Today, I had the Kothu Vegetable Paratha. First of all, the portion is huge—easily enough for two people. Second, it was bursting with flavor. I absolutely loved it! (Tip: go with medium spice level—it packs a punch at hot.)

I also tried the Sizzling 65 Mushroom—and wow, it was mind-blowingly good.

Don’t miss out on their Madras Coffee and Nariyal Chutney—I’m obsessed with both. So flavorful and comforting.

Ordered via Uber Eats today:

I had placed an order for Masala Vada, but since it wasn’t available, I received a prompt and courteous call informing me. Great service!

I also tried:
• Vada Sambhar
• Puri Bhaji
• Onion Samosa

Every single item tasted super authentic and was full of rich, vibrant flavors. The Vada Sambhar and Nariyal Chutney stood out—they were absolutely delicious.

Can’t wait to try even more from their menu whenever I get the chance!

Such stupid restaurant. Too bad. If there was an option to give negative stars I would have done it so.
We did dine in – food ordered was samosa chaat, veg manchuria, nalli soup (goat), golden shrimp, lotus stem appetiser, vijayawada chicken biryani.
Samosa chaat was. If you like lotus stem it was good.
Rest all very worst. We let the manager know about this. He didn’t care at all and charged us for all the food. We had to send the shrimp back as it was uncooked (didn’t charge us for this)
Very bad experience. Ambience was not good too. There were a lot of flies and no proper ac (went there at 90F).
I would recommend no one to go to curry leaf!

A technical issue with their website meant my online order for delivery went to a location that was closed due to a holiday. I immediately received a call from the owner to let me know what happened. He made sure my order was submitted to the open location and then even delivered it himself (even though it was a solid 25 minute drive and clearly outside the delivery radius). Customer service and the food definitely exceeded expectations. Highly recommend and will absolutely go back. Spicy curry chicken and butter chicken were fantastic.

TLDR: I always enjoy curry leaf! It’s been a while since I visited last, but it was exactly as expected for me. Make sure to request the exact level of spiciness you prefer- I’d not leave it up to the cooks because they enjoy burning their faces off, I think (keep in mind I am but a basic white girlie, so maybe you can handle the extra spice- these are simply my opinions! thank you; carry on!)

I ordered an Indian Chai, which was super yummy and actually went great with my entree. Definitely would recommend.

We ordered the Dedicated Vindaloo
(Spicy treat with the traditional vindaloo sauce made with vinegar and whole red chilies. (Chicken)). I would recommend that you order the spice level that you’d normally order for yourself- sometimes we leave it up to the cook, as we feel like it’s more authentic that way- but apparently we can’t handle the authentic here! We’ve ordered this dish elsewhere and leaving it up too the cook did not leave it this spicy, but this time, holy cow! So, if you’re like us, order what you know you can handle lol!

I ordered the Paneer Makani (Homemade cheese cooked in a tangy creamy tomato sauce) at medium heat. It was perfect.

We ordered a couple orders of Garlic Naan (Oven-baked bread with garlic and Butter) which I would always recommend to anyone to accompany any food order!

Because they could tell that we were dying of spice, the server brought us a complimentary sample of Mango Lassi (Fresh Homemade yogurt shake flavored with mango) which was super yummy and the perfect endcap to the meal.

A couple of things I’d recommend for the restaurant- there either wasn’t any music or it was so low that the kitchen sounds were fully audible. I think for a comparable dining experience, it’s necessary to have a bit of music to allow customers to converse without feeling like they might be disturbing other customers or without feeling disturbed by others’ conversations.

The bathroom is always ridiculously cold .

Other than that, I’ve always enjoyed my experience here!

The food here was excellent! Dine in if you can. We were given a lovely tomato soup to start. The veg samosas are great. Sauces are fresh and tasty. We ordered way too much and can’t wait for leftovers!
