Food was delicious. Server was great. Atmosphere was eh too many beggars asking for money and to buy them food. If not it woul have been a 5 star.
I don’t mind helping someone who needs it,but there were 2 guys who appeared have a routine. They hit everyone coming in for food and most bought them something to eat. So why ask me to help as well when you have a plate of food in front of you.

I usually either get steak or cuban sandwich, my experience i’d say is 7/10. They taste great but they aren’t consistent with the steak sandwich. Some days are more dry than others. Overall i’ve ordered a few times from this location & they’re efficient.

This places has gone down! …the quality of the food, prices are ridiculous and the food portions are so small, just order an empanada, or a patacon and you’ll see … fries fries fries … their fries used to be so good and crispy, now they change the french fries for these white french fries they are really nasty and saggy..#not good ….also this place needs a remodeling! lady at the cashier doesn’t really know what she’s doing to be honest. I grew up in the area and later moved but came back because i missed this spot (when it was banana king) i ordered a cheeseburger but without onion. i got charged $11 for essentially a grilled cheese. outrageous! not only that but they put it in a sandwich bread. which i only let slide because i assumed everything else was find and didn’t want to be a karen. I arrived home ( a whole different county) just to receive an overpriced grilled cheese. PLEASE be careful on how they prepare your order!

Ordered a pork SAUSAGE sandwich for take out, they gave me a pork sandwich. Not a big deal, but not what I ordered. Both sandwiches come with Swiss and mozzarella cheese, according to the website. The sandwich I got had American cheese. I hate American cheese, which is why I specifically ordered something without it. Wound up giving it to a coworker and not having lunch. Wouldn’t recommend, won’t go back.

I had a bad experience today out of many uears of being a loyal customer. I will not be stepping foot again at another Banana King. Today I brought an beef empanada and a strawberry and banana shake. As usual the milkshake was amazing but as I took a bite in the middle of empanada there was a whole rubber band inside my empanada. Please pay attention when preparing food. This was the Banana King at 263 21st ave in Paterson, NJ today at 3:15pm I gave them 1 star for the milkshake.
