The new Big arch is interesting, Still prefer the Big Mac as its a classic and can’t go wrong with the OG. This specific location is one of the better staffed in the area, Never had any real customer service issues here. Management is doing a fine job.

I ordered a 6-piece Chicken McNuggets and a Big Mac from McDonald’s. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The nuggets were pretty average, and honestly, they felt a bit lower in quality than usual. The Big Mac, while still enjoyable, wasn’t up to the usual standard either—the bread was a bit dry. The fries also didn’t hit the spot like they normally do. It might have been an off day for the staff, who seemed to be working very hard, possibly understaffed. We appreciate their efforts, but overall, it wasn’t the best McDonald’s experience I’ve had.

They like to fake their order times for higher by having people pull away from the window and they will have someone “bring it right out”. I’ve been completely forgotten twice now and had to go inside to ask about my food. This morning it was a simple coffee. I got told to go pull into a parking space for a coffee. 15 minutes later I had to go inside and got an “I’m sorry, we forgot”. Will never make the mistake of stoping here again.

One of the worst McDonalds I’ve been to. Long drive thru line, I’d find out why later, so I went in for my mobile order…..stood at the counter for 6 minutes without a single employee acknowledging my existence. Then was asked “what I needed”. I explained I had a mobile order. Got told I’d have to go to the app and change the location; mind you, you can see the drive thru window from where you order the carry out. The manager told me that wasn’t how it worked and I’d have to change it or couldn’t get my order. The whole team was walking around aimlessly opening bags of cups and shooting the breeze with each other the whole time. They had little to no interest in serving the customers.

I’ve had an occasional problem here with orders but overall things usually go well. There’s been some really good employees who handled drive-thru orders over the last four years. One issue at times is when the drive-thru lane gets backed up and it can be difficult making the turn to get to the restaurant and then avoid blocking cars that want to exit. As with most McDonald’s, it usually take longer for someone to take your order when you go in the restaurant than if you use the drive-thru.

This is the only McDonald’s around Charlottesville that consistently has fresh coffee, even decaf, regardless of the time of day. I will go out of my way to go to this McDonald’s location because too often I’ve gotten stale coffee from other locations. Kudos!

I stopped in with the intention to order my dinner, but went to the restroom first. It was terrible. I went to use the stall, but it was in such condition of filth I opted to just use the urinal. And, decided that if the restroom was so filthy, the part the customer could see, I could only imagine what was the condition of the kitchen, what the customer couldn’t see. Says the management has no standards.

Unorganized staff, not stocked with cup lids, raw French fries, 15-20 minute wait time for a small mobile order. Very disappointed in this location, needs restructuring/retraining.

Yep….you know your pies have been sitting in the warmer most of the day, when the”enjoy by” stickers are torn off and the spot when the sticker was is still sticky. ‍♀️ not to mention the lukewarm soggy fries!

Ugh! Once again, I’m looking for things to get better…NOT!. I used the mobile app to order. I arrived to the restaurant and waited 5-8 minutes after parking check in. Once the worker delivered my food, I did not receive complete order, 2 pies were missing. The young lady said “I’ll bring it out”. I waited 10-12 minutes and decided to go inside. Upon entering the building, the young lady was sitting in the dinning area and said to me, across the room “they don’t have any pies”. It sure would have been nice for her to inform me of this once she found out about it. I proceeded to the front counter and explained what I was waiting for. This worker responds, “let me check”. He apologized and said they were in the oven. After another 1-2 minute wait, he brought them to me saying, “they’re fresh out of the oven nice and hot for you”. A quick 20 minute break turned into an hour lunch. Ugh!! I’m still baffled as to what made the young lady think it was “all good” not communicated with the customer. Three strikes.

‍♀️ ‍♀️I guess THIS is the “new” apple pie…not one but TWO mis-packaged.. Or should I say, they were so busy that it was done deliberately to get the order “completed” and out of the way ‍♀️

‍♀️ received a big pile of reheated, greasy fries today. Strongly recommend placing friendlier faces at the drive-through windows, ESPECIALLY at the food pick-up window. Service with an attitude ‍♀️
