Food 3 | Chai 10 | Service 3 | Atmosphere 8
In all honesty, the only reason I would ever return was for that Chai. Maybe it was an off day for them but damn was it a horrid choice for a lunch. I did not mind waiting 20 minutes for a table cuz thats normal for a busy time of the day. I’m generally pretty patient but it got to the point that it took so long to get our food(ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down) that I was unsure if they were going to get it to us before they closed shop for the day. I put a Pic of my finished plate. I’m pretty sure I’ve gone to Food Lion for that same fish. I barely touched the fries because they were so soggy.
The service was eh at best. They did the bare minimum. In the almost 2 and a half hrs we were there we talked with our waiter once that was outside the original order and the receipt.
Like I said at the start. The only reason I would ever go back was for the Chai and it’s also the only reason they got a star.

I’m from Florida & this place is TOP tier. The service is so nice, the food is amazing, & the shop is so cute!! I’m not a coffee drinker but my boyfriend is & the latte is so good as well as the hot coco❤️

My mom, fiance, and I ate here while on vacation. It’s a nice little restaurant to get lunch at. I got the popcorn shrimp and fries which were good. My boyfriend got fish and chips which he enjoyed, and my mom got the veggie grilled cheese with fries which she loved. We didn’t try any coffee unfortunately, but they were definitely making a lot of them. There were a lot of interesting signs and decorations to look at while sitting and eating our meal.

They make the menu for breakfast and lunch every day, and varies based on what ingredients and such they can get.
With that in mind, they had great food and friendly servers, as well as Pepsi zero which was unexpected but great!

Based on the other reviews, we may have been on an off day. We waited for an hour plus for our food, family of four. The staff all seemed to be moving at a glacial pace, no urgency. Our waitress took our order and we didn’t see her again. Someone else brought the food and that was the only time anyone checked in with us. No one checked on us during that hour wait. Why did we wait? I was afraid if we went to another restaurant, we would start the wait over. I was also hoping based on reviews, the food would be worth it. It wasn’t! My chicken salad sandwich had a very small amount of chicken salad. I ended up sending my greasy and soggy fries back. They did take that off of the bill. Caesar salad came with dressing on the side, I hate that for a Caesar. BLT and Chicken tender basket were decent and a nice amount of food. My husband said his burger was OK. I wouldn’t go back.

Very nicely decorated cafe! Very busy when we were there. The waitress was wonderful. She waited on us but also chatted a bit about Luray and the surrounding area. The drip coffee was perfect and free refills were offered regularly. The caramel latte was average but not bad.

I have mixed feelings towards this place. Very nice staff, and surprisingly decent chai latte. The breakfast sandwich with English muffin was very satisfying. Avocado toast was pretty good though not impressive. What was disappointing was actually their homemade pie. We went on Pie Day and hoped we could get some refreshing lemon pie. The pie crust was very meaty for some reasons, and it went so bad with the lemon. We suspected that was because they bake in the same oven with other savory things.
