One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. I will never return to this place again. 1st they closed their bar due to lack of staff. They still serve drinks, but no more sports TV. I ordered a large beer and it was over 15 minutes before it arrived, not only that they brought me the smaller size. The food arrived before the beer. The food was cold, they never came by to ask me how is everything? I would have told them to microwave the plate for 30 seconds. But because they were short handed I ate my Enchiladas cold. As for the beer, since it took so long, I asked if I could change my mind, the server said yes. But right after that another server brings out the original order of beer in the smaller 16oz glass when I ordered a 22oz. I said that’s okay just adjust it on the tab. But after finishing my cold dinner and pint beer the server brings me the tab and it still shows the cost for the large beer. I brought it to the server’s attention but he tried to rationalize that I should be charged for the 22oz beer even though I was served the 16oz beer. I started to explain my understanding and the server said “I’m not going to listen to you.” He eventually voided out the large beer and re-ran the tab for the smaller beer. When he returned to my table with my CC and receipt he slammed my CC on the table, and rendered a guilt trip then left. Sorry, cold food, overcharge, not listening, and rudeness. I’m not going back there. I think chef Gordon Ramsey ought to evaluate this restaurant. I’m sure the owner would get a big wake up call.

Not a bad place for some authentic Mexican food. Food was decent, good portions. Service was great to be fair.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again, but I would stop in if passing.

Pretty Average, Nothing Special about this place.
Food was served hot and quick, like every other Family Mexican Restaurant I’ve been to.
Good Tasty Meal, but not outstanding by any means.
Fajita Skillet was TOO HOT, which started to burn the food.
Be prepared for the CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE APPLIED TO EVERY CHECK!!!
For that reason, I will not return, even though the SURCHARGE was removed when I paid in cash.
I travel through Post Falls 2-4 times a month, and this Restaurant won’t see another dollar of mine.
I hope this review is seen by the owner/manager.

I didn’t get approached by a wait staff for 10 minutes and after seeing comments about poor service. I figured it was legit so I left. The host was polite and I’m sure the food may have been decent. But if I’m not asked for what I want to drink within 10 minutes while you’re not busy (6 tables total) then I know you my food will be cold by the time I get it.

I was hungry so I decided to give it a shot… what a mistake. When you walk in it smells like sewage, there’s something seriously wrong with the cleanliness of that place. I knew it should of been a sign and walked out. I ordered chicken flautas as a basic test for the restaurant and they were soggy not completely fried and everything was small for a $19 dish.

Do not go here, other reviews are right. This place sucks

It is so hard to put into words our experience from last night. When we walked in the door, I noticed a bad smell. I brushed it off as something related to the beans. We were seated in a booth by the windows. The servers were nice & fairly efficient. We ordered. While we waited for our food to come, we kept getting whiffs of a bad smell. It smelled like sewer. I was losing my appetite. We took a couple bites, then asked for a to-go box. We had to get out of there. We both went to the restroom before we went to pay. That’s where I nearly vomited. The smell was horrific. We went to the front door to pay & get out of there. Another lady was requesting to only pay for half, because of the smell. The workers called & asked the owner, but were told no discount. She was understandably raising quite a fuss & they threatened to contact police if she didn’t pay full price. We just wanted out of the nightmare, so paid our bill & told them they needed to know the smell was terrible. Our waitress said they knew, they’d even had the city come check the sewer, but nothing was found. Then, I would suggest they have a plumber check the pipes underneath their building. In my opinion, the Health Dept needs contacted. This is not a good situation and the owner is not taking his/her customers health seriously. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!

The service was great, the food was mediocre, it didn’t hit the spot like other reviews implied. The bathrooms smelled horrible, worse than an outhouse, so much that it lingered several feet away from them.

Stopped in here to grab a bite to eat before going out dancing for the evening. When we were sat down to our table the place was pretty empty. Maybe 3-4 other tables had people sitting at them.

We ordered drinks and waited to order food until our drinks arrived. This took roughly 15 minutes to get margaritas and draft beer.

It took a hour for us to get our food. My burrito arrived and it was cold in the middle. I asked the server to take it back and please just take it off the bill.

While my friend begins to enjoy his food, he gets 2-3 bites in and finds a piece of aluminum foil in his mouth. When we showed this to the server she told us it was probably a piece of the aluminum scrubber that they use in the dishwasher station. Which made the idea of finding it in his food so much WORSE.

We would have been better off eating anywhere else in town. What a complete disaster of a restaurant

Fresh and authentic Mexican food. I initially thought the place was packed as the parking lot was full. When I entered I was greeted by two kind ladies that kindly sat me at my table. The salsa was thick and very fresh. The vegetables were crunchy. The tortilla chips were also very fresh. The servers were great and the overall experience was well worth the 5 star rating. I highly recommend.

My friend and I were there when they opened up at 11:00, today, August 14th 2024. Ruben, the waiter was really nice. I ordered a two item combo, a taco and a chile relleno. The chile relleno was the worst I’ve had. It was deep fried the size of a very small pancake, there was no cheese inside, only on the top of it, it was burnt and so oily I didn’t finish it. I’m attaching a photo and I know what you’re thinking, she ate almost all of it, believe me, I didn’t. That’s how small it was. I called this afternoon to let the restaurant know at 3:47. The phone was answered by a very rude young lady. I told her about the experience and she said that they never get complaints and copped an attitude. If you’re traveling from out of town or even local, don’t bother wasting your time or money going there. The best Mexican place is Las Chevales in Coeur D’Alene. The people there are polite and the food is delicious.
